-I know some English and Chinese (which is my first language and mother tongue respectively). I don't think I'm proficient enough in either language to be able to completely retain the original meaning after translation, factoring in significance of formatting, structure and language quirks on top of there being no absolute equivalents, but I abuse dictionaries, translators and thesauri. :)

-I was a writer for a time (under a different name) on fanfiction.net and fictionpress.com, and a lurker everywhere else. Which may explain a little of the strange roundabout way I have of phrasing things, but hopefully that won't leak too much into my work here. :)
