Is there a reason why you're dropping them from the translation of SAO volume 1?
In summary, individual translators have the final say on honorific usage in the chapters they translate (consistency is not a goal for multi-translator projects). Editors will honor these preferences in the general case. This also applies to name order. -milki
There's no actual guideline on their usage, and most translators on the project tend to leave them in. --Tap 05:08, 18 February 2012 (CST)

Milki, I'd also like to know where you saw honorifics could be removed. They are to be kept. Vaelis 08:42, 18 February 2012 (CST)

Oh ok, I didn't think it was being consistent everywhere and tend towards localization. I'll undo the changes I made for honorifics. Where would be the best place to note this guideline? -milki 14:13, 18 February 2012 (CST)

Well, I see you unilaterally reverted the revision so I went back to redo only the grammar changes. I would like to have the guideline written somewhere about honorifics. I couldn't double check the other chapters for consistency because I don't have the novels myself. -milki 14:31, 18 February 2012 (CST)

Honorifics.[edit]
