Hello and welcome to my page. Just a bit about me. I have only recently started to learn Chinese and have around 1.5 years of experience. My goal to learn Chinese comes partly from potentially involving myself in international business in the future, but mainly it comes from wanting to read anime. Also I hate how American's are mainly doing European languages and Spanish as a second language so I guess you can say I also wanted to be "different". Now you might ask "why not just learn Japanese?" I had a lot of Chinese friends who convinced me to go with Chinese and that they can help me. In otherwords, it would be easier for me to learn Chinese due to my surroundings.

Since I am an American, it makes it even harder for me than the American Chinese speakers and Native Chinese speakers since I have no previous background in the language or culture. Translations for me are a way of practice and a way of showing my gratitude to the other translators who have taken time out of their schedule to help translate. The least I can do is lessen some of their burden.
