CHAPTER ❶ : The World of Ruubien

During my childhood, I loved to draw my own fantasies. Of course, everyone would expect that it was a normal thing in my age. And as I grew up, I ended up believing that these fantasies will never happen in real life; They're just made-up stories after all. But everything that I thought was wrong, because the world I made, came to reality.

I woke up, once again, to resume my "normal life" here in the human world, where I was born in.

" Oh, good morning Saichiro~ " My mother greeted me. " Come down to eat breakfast as soon as you're done washing up. " She smiled one more time as she closed the door infront of me.

" Living this life is kinda boring. " I said with no emotions at all.

I had made a world called "Ruubien", kind of a childish name actually, because I thought of it when I was still a child.

I have been called Creator by the ones that live in Ruubien, and since I was a child when I drew the world back then, Ruubien was like a Dreamscape to me. I am the only one who knew of this, I am the only one from the human world who can travel through worlds both the Mundane and Ruubien. Because I am Creator.

A portal had appeared before me, combined with most of the shades of violet, that was the portal to Ruubien, and the Twin Phoenix Sisters have came to visit.

" Greetings, Creator-sama. " The eldest, Karin, bowed down respectfully. She is the mature twin, the alpha-like phoenix. Also the future ruler of the Phoenix.

" Its nice to meet you once again, Creator-sama. " The youngest twin, Harin, bowed down the same way, and she was the childish twin. A princess.

" Hm, what brings both of you here today? " I told them, with my cold and emotionless voice. If I was going to become a "god" of the world I created, I have to act like one.

" We wish to bring you back to Ruubien, Creator-sama. " Karin kept her head down, and both her eyes closed shut.

" I already told you this before Karin. " I said with a glare, and I knew she shuddered from it. I don't have time to be friendly with anyone if I am going to become a strong leader.

" But, there has been a man who has called himself the Creator. " Karin said, with a worried look on her face. By this time she had stood straight once more.

" Yeah, yeah! " Harin added with a pout, " He keeps on hoarding the woman in Ruubien! A perv! " she said.

" Oh~ " I put on a smirk, " This is going to be fun. " I said.

" Creator-sama, what do you plan to do about this? " Karin told me, with her flames becoming stronger.

" Calm down, " I said with the same smirk, " You might burn the house. " I stood up, before opening the door, I turned around to face them and said, " I'll deal with it. "

" C-Creator-sama..!! " The twins said in unison.

" Go back to Ruubien, I'll be sure to talk with that imposter. " I said, and closed the door on them. I had to eat breakfast already, mother might be worried why I took so long.

After eating, I went back to my room. A portal had appeared from the sky, and a dragon carrying an envelop appeared from it. Constantly, this dragon carries news about Ruubien to the ones who have knowledge about it, which is me.

" Rar, Rar.. " The dragon ascended and I took the envelop from its mouth. " Rar, rar! " he kept on roaring softly.

" I wouldn't understand you right now since we are in the human world, want me to allow you to speak? " I looked at him after I took the envelop, and he tilted his head in confusion.

" Rar.. Rar-- " Before he could continue, I placed my hand on his forehead and casted a spell that enabled him to speak, " Wha.. Wha! I'm able to speak! "

" Quiet. You must not attract attention from the others. " I said firmly, in which he obeyed, he knew I was the Creator afterall. Only three know my identity. Which is, the Twins, and this dragon, a royal blood.

" Creator-sama, the problem is worsening. " The dragon, called Teipei, said so, with the same worry as like Karin did earlier.

" So, what Karin said was really true, huh? " I out my hand on mychin while the other was holding the piece of news, The Twins often lie about the news in Ruubien to get me to stay there. I couldn't, its way too tiresome there.

" Yes, Yes! " Teipei nodded.

" I'll be going tonight, I could take that guy easily. " I closed the envelop, and threw the piece of paper in the trash after crumpling it. For now, I'll just wait for further news, there will be new ones later on anyway. Time in Earth is slower than in Ruubien.

" Y-Yes.. Creator-sama... " Teipei sweatdropped, and as he opened his wings to fly, he was spotted. But I didn't notice it until it was broadcasted in the news.

" Honey!! Saichiro!! Come look! " Mother surprisingly called us from downstairs, " There was a dragon near our city!! They do exist! " Well, sh*t.

" W-woah! I thought these creatures were just a myth?! " He said, " Who knew?! This could be a good opportunity to enlighten your fantasies, Saichiro! " he smiled.

" Dad, you make it sound wrong. " I walked back to my room, of course they don't know what Teipei is capable of because he looks small. But if he needs to survive, he has to become his real form, a scary big dragon.

I grabbed a black robe with a hood and wore it before jumping down of our house, I have to do something before Teipei could kill somebody.

Once I arrived there, I already saw that he turned big, even from afar, and many armed forces have been coming together to stop his crazy actions. I quickly ran to where he is, but before I knew it, he already had teleported to Ruubien.

As expected of a royal blood dragon, having the ability to teleport without using a portal. But it requires a huge amount of energy, also known as mana, to be able to do that. Adding up to his transformation, he is pretty tired by this point, the Twins might've been treating him already.

" Now, now. You shouldn't hurt a dragon who didn't want to hurt anybody. " As I snapped my fingers, all of the helicopters, hand exploded. As long as Ruubien exists, my power as its creator lingers in me.

Now it makes me feel like wanting to go to Ruubien already. Well, its not like I can't go. Besides, I want to do something more than just staying at home and living a normal life, I want to fight. Someone near or as strong as me.

[Meanwhile, in the world of Ruubien...]

As I expected, I have teleported to the North Eastern region, and my domain stands in the Northern region, I have to go through a long walk if I am supposed to get that imposter out of my chair. And he is even using my name to find more power, but how was he able to say he was me? The people here don't even know what I look like in my god form. Only the Twins and Teipei do.

" For now.. " I sighed, " I can't turn to my god mode, I want to have my fun first. " I smirked internally. And looked around, I was located in a huge field, and I saw in front of me was a medium sized village. A town.

My idea was to look weak, or look like I'm just a guy without magic and only have physical strength. I have been training to become a strong leader, and I have mentioned that before. I studied hard, and I got the I.Q. of 500, but I didn't bother to tell my parents.

I didn't have to study about Ruubien since I created the world, and I still have the clear memory of the details of what I drew, I kept those old drawings in my corner closet. Where only I know about.

" Erghh.. " In the corner of my eye, I saw the tired Teipei, I guess he was teleported here, because of his tired body, he was only able to get this far, and not be able to reach to Northern region.

" Hey, Teipei. " I flicked his forehead, and he instantly stood up. I had restored his energy full by the flick of my finger.

" Y-Yes, Creator-sama?! " He said respectfully, by now he was in his small dragon form. " Thank goodness you had arrived safely! " he bowed down.

" Of course I did. I only traveled worlds. " I sighed, and put one leg down, and faced him. " Teipei, I have to turn you into human, got it? "

" Human?! " His eyes glistened, " Waahh~!! Creator-sama is going to use his magic on me! " Guess he forgot that humans tried to kill him. And that I have used my magic on him many times before as well.

" Hold still. " I closed my eyes, and put my hand about him. I casted my spell, " Draco Tuus, tua, conversus in humana nomine tuo, id ego ad te! " and he grew bright, turning into his human form. Only strong beings like me can do it.

[ Translation : Thy dragon, thee shalt turn to human by thy name, I call unto thee! ]

But since he is still small, he cannot do it on his own. It is a duty for him to grow to become a servant for the Creator, that is why he knows my identity. I had drawn this rule. And told them this rule myself. But I did not show my face.

" Woah..this is pretty amazing Creator-sama.. " he looked at himself, " Thank you very much! I will serve you more truthfully, I owe my life to you, Creator-sama!! " he bowed down the lowest.

" Stand up, we will have a long journey ahead of us. " I told him, and he had stood up obediently.

Our journey, has now begun.

Teipei and I have started our journey, but before that, I would likely show you what happened during our time in the town. Of course, I had to keep my cool, and stay looking like a normal person, I don't want to attract attention from the citizens just yet.

" Creator-sama, since there has been an imposter, he had made new rules, and the evil in Ruubien has increased by 15% in just three days. " Teipei said with a serious look as he looked at me.

" New rules? " I gradually looked around, and I saw a small inn, " That looks suspicious. " I closed my eyes and walked towards the inn. I knew something was going on in there.

" C-Creator-sama..?! " Teipei chased after me, and he caught up once I already opened the door, and that's where it was shocking. For Teipei at least.

" Come on cutie~ You're such a cute animal~! " A fat sweaty man was above a Half, he was trying to take off her clothes with such a disgusting look on his face. And of course, the Half female was extremely terrified. At this point, I lost it.

[ Definition : A Half is like a beast, half human, half animal. They appear as a human but have features like ears of an animal and tails of an animal. They could also look like an animal depending on how their parents are. ]

" Hey, can you stop? " I grabbed the man's shirt, and I have my smile on. " The lady is really scared of your ugliness and dirtiness. "

" The hell are you supposed to be?! " He got angry and swooped his arm to punch me in the face, but I dodged. His punches were so slow that I could sleep before it reaches me. " H-How..?! "

" I'm sorry, please get off the woman now. " I said with a smile, and again, he punched me multiple times, and in I all evaded.

" A stupid kid like you can't be able to dodge my punches!! " He said all cursing, and thats when I used my knee to kick him on the chin.

" Kyaa! " The Half female had screamed when the man flew backwards from my kick. But I saw that she was relived when she knew I was saving her.

" C-Creator-sama.. " Teipei said quietly to catch my attention, good thing there weren't many people inside. So no one heard.

" Yes, I just dealt with that fatso. " I turned around to face the woman, " You alright? " She nodded, and she had tears on her eyes as she smiled.

We went out of the inn once the half female told us she will be safe, and the fat pervert earlier was kicked out of the town, for causing major issues. Soon after that, me and Teipei had gotten out of the town, and we headed further to reach the Northern region.

" Creator-sama, " He started, " What do you think about the incident earlier? " He said with a worried look on his face.

" It was stupid. " I said bluntly. " Ruubien has innocent women and gentlemen, but ever since this imposter had started ruling and faking as the Creator, he has taught them about evil. "

" Yes, you are right. " Teipei nodded with a sigh. " But, how did the imposter know about the evil anyways? "

" He might've come from the Southern region. " I said seriously. With my cold and emotionless look as always.

" That region full of the evil guys? " Teipei looked surprised, and scared at the same time. I reached my hand and patted him, to assure him I'll take care of it.

" Don't fret about it. " I gave him a smile. " That imposter will surely fall down easily, I have already thought of a plan. "

" O-Okay then, I trust you Creator-sama. " Teipei smiled, a warm one. And we continued our long journey towards the Northern region.

[Meanwhile, in the Northern region...]

The imposter has really been cocky, he has even held an event where he will be choosing his bride! This is getting out of hand, we need the real Creator, I know he will be arriving soon. I have heard from Karin that he headed for Ruubien, but she didn't see him in the Northern region anywhere.

" Harin, so this was where you were. " Karin flew to where I was, I was actually supposed to be finding the people that want to be the imposter's bride.

" K-Karin.. " I sighed, " You couldn't find Creator-sama anywhere? " I said sadly. At this point I am already dying to meet Creator-sama!

" Harin, you really do act differently towards Creator-sama. " Karin raised a brow, and I blushed by her statement. " Wait a minute.. Harin.. "

" I know!! " I screamed, my flames grew bigger, " I like Creator-sama, I know! " I closed my eyes, I have admired him ever since I met him!

" Geez, " Karin face palmed, " But Creator-sama isn't interested in women, he wants to stay single for some reason. "

" I know that.. " I pouted, " I also don't know why, but he has said he doesn't have time for love. " I spun around. " Our Creator-sama is really weird. "

Karin laughed. " That's why we like serving him. " I nodded and laughed along with her, Creator-sama being an unusual creator is amazing!

" Oh yeah. " Karin's eyes widened, " Have you already finished your task? "

" Chet.. I don't like serving that false pervidiot. " I pouted and crossed my wings. The iron plate I was holding was where I would write the names of the women.

" You only wrote one. " Karin looked at it, the looked at me with her 'You-are-such-an-idiot-for-doing-a-half-assed-job'.

" S-shut it Karin!! " I got the iron plate from her and started writing the names randomly. I don't care who he marries, as long as its a pig!!

" Seriously Harin. " Karin sighed, and she smiled after she flew away. " By the way Harin, what would you do if the imposter fell for you instead of Creator-sama? "

[With Teipei and Creator-sama, aka Saichiro...]

The journey wasn't that long as I thought at all. We arrived at the Northern region pretty quickly as I thought. I guess Ruubien wasn't like the human world where the continents were all so far away. The human world has 7, and Ruubien has 4. This is a small world after all.

" Creator-sama, I just received the recent news. " Teipei put his index finger beside his forehead, above his right ear. " The imposter has held an event. "

" Hmn? What kind of-- Ah, I think I know now. " I saw multiple princesses enter the gates of the Northern region, this is very likely for a person like him.

" R-really? " Teipei looked at the princesses, " You're right, he has held a bride event. Or something like that. " Teipei looked a little irritated.

" Shall we get going? " Teipei said putting out his hand. And he had his normal smile on. He is growing by himself I see.

" Of course. " I closed my eyes and started to walk towards the gate with Teipei. Now, I am about to face the imposter on my domain that's using my name.

As we entered the region's gates, nothing much changed. In the Northern region, there are 10 large cities, and right now we are at the first city. My domain stands at the tenth one. Which was the largest.

Half of the cities here, are very modern, and some are just the regular cities. Of course, I didn't draw cars here, only horses and trains.

" Rosar City, huh? " I looked up, and the sky was orange, it was already nearing dawn. The first city is Rosar City, next one is Terranium City, next one is Quilnad City, next one is Macademia City, next one is Zetzuen City, (ect.)

And where I have laid my domain, the Central City. I don't bother telling the other half of the cities, it bothers me that I just had to say there were 10 cities in the Northern region. It bugs me up to this day.

" Woaahh~~! " Teipei looked in awe, like it was his first time seeing this place, even though he lived in the Northern region.

" What are you acting all surprised about? " I raised a brown with my hands crossed. And he scratched his head with a laugh.

" I haven't been here, I was only in Central City the whole time. I'm only here to serve you Creator-sama~ haha. " He smiled at me.

" Idiot. " I gave him a soft flick on his forehead, " I never said you could stay there forever just serving some guy. " I smiled.

" C-Creator-sa...ma.. " He had his eyes full of tears, like he was almost going to birst with happiness. " O-Okay then!! "

" But right now, we have an imposter to exterminate. " I looked emotionless again, and had my cold tone. We walked through Rosar City, and was nearing Terranium.

But, half-way, Teipei's stomach grumbled, same for mine, so we took a little lunch break. We haven't been eating well for almost a day. I only ate a short breakfast and I'm still human nonetheless. It was kind of a problem for me. Our lunch break will be soon over..

Here we come, Terranium City

We have arrived at Terranium City just not too long, but it was already dark when we stepped in. So we had to find a place where we could sleep. And if I remember correctly, there is a hidden inn here that's free. I drew it before, in every city, there is a hidden inn where its free for a night. Only I know about it.

" Creator-sama, I only have a few money left with me, so we'll have to sleep-- "

" No. " I cut him off by putting my arm in front of him as if stopping him, " I know a place where we could sleep for free. " I said without emotion whatsoever.

That hidden inn was located under an old bridge, where if you step one more time, it will break. Resulting your death. That's why no one dared to step on there, but under that bridge, lies the inn.

" The old bridge? " Teipei said, with a surprised look, " Creator-sama, we shouldn't cross here. " he pulled back my cloak.

" Who said we were going to cross? " I jumped down, and there was a small dark cave under the bridge, bingo, found it.

" C-Creator-sama! " Teipei shouted from above, and he was relieved once he saw me okay, and so his wings appeared and he flew down. Those wings disappeared again.

" I haven't told you this but in the cities, there are hidden inns. " I looked at him and pointed towards the cave, " They're all free. "

" What?! " Teipei's mouth hung open, and I resumed walking towards the cave.

" Teipei, light fire. " I commanded him. And he did so.

We walked through the dark and cold cave, finally, the scent of tea lingered towards us; That's where we found the hidden inn. Its my first time actually seeing once, since I haven't been in this world after some time. So it was a little of a shock for me.

" My, my~! " A middle-aged woman came out of the inn all happy, she was the wife of the owner of the inn. " We have guests! Honey~! "

" Good gracious! By Creator's name we have finally guests! " The man said with joy, and I liked the part where he said 'By Creator's name' it made me laugh internally.

" Why are you guys located in such a place?! " Teipei hand his hand on his mouth, with his eyes wide open.

" We also don't know, but we had a hunch that the Creator would want us to build it here. " The woman said with a calm and warm tone.

" You maybe correct. " I closed my eyes and patted Teipei's shoulder before facing the owner, " May we stay here? "

" Sure! And since you are the first to visit us, you can stay here for free! " The man laughed, and he almost sang for joy.

" R-Really?! That's okay with you?! " Teipei said, shocked of course.

" Yes, yes, we want to serve the people, not earn money because of it. " The woman said, holding her chest.

" Then, " Teipei looked at me and mumbled, " Creator-sama, let's go! " he smiled and ran inside.

There were 15 rooms in total, as I said before during my childhood. It should've been a total of 500 floors, but when my mother appeared and told me it was too much, I reverted it to only 15. If mother didn't appear, this will be a really huge inn. Oh well.

Our room had two beds, and it was separated by a small coffee table, there were also closets beside bed, and a bathroom in the left corner. It was really big, and very comfortable. The temperature wasn't cold nor hot.

" Amazing! " Teipei said as he jumped on his bed happily, " Creator-sama, you made this right~? "

" Yes. " I nodded a bit. " We had a long day, you better take a bath. There are clothes in the closet, feel free to choose. " I sat down the bed.

" T-Take.. a ... bath...? " Teipei tilted his head, oh, dragons don't pbathe unless they can turn human. And this is his first time as a human.

" What I mean is that in your human form, you wash your head to toe using water, and there is shampoo and sop in there. " I pointed.

" Shampoo is a liquid-like substance you put on your head, and you rub it. " I looked up, as if thinking, " ...and soap is an object you rub all over your body. "

" Ah! I get what you mean. " Teipei brightened up a little more, " Okay, I'll be taking a bath. How about you, Creator-sama? "

" I will. " I leaned on the bed, " But you go first, you never bathed before right? "

Teipei nodded and went to take a bath.

While he was taking his time, I was reading a book that I found under the table, I didn't draw it there though. Maybe the owners have left this book while cleaning the room from dust. There are some things that I didn't draw but exist here.

I looked outside the window, but since it was in a cave, there was nothing else to see but the walls and darkened shadows. Pondering was all I did, and I thought about the sisters, Karin will find me once I reach the next city. The Twins can tract my energy, along with Teipei; The Royal Blood Dragon.

" Creator-sama, I'm done~ " He felt lively, " The water was really warm and it felt really good! Maybe that's why humans like bathing so much. "

" Maybe that is the reason Teipei. " I grabbed the towel next to me and entered the bath.

I undressed myself and I decided to use the bathtub instead. Filling it full with warn water, I entered, and that's where I planned my strategy after getting that imposter out of my domain, and back to the Southern region.

" Ah, I better go to sleep now. " I looked up, and there, through the roof, I saw the sky, it was dark, but because of the stars, it looked beautiful.

There are times I like what I did during my childhood.

I got out of the bath, and rubbed my hair dry. Putting my old clothes back on and rushing out of the bathroom. Teipei was already asleep, he was even snoring. I approached him and touched his forehead with mine. " Goodnight. "

The next day..

I was woken up by Teipei, he had prepared with the owner breakfast for both of us. On the table I saw tea, and some shelled corn? I don't know. I feel stupid creating these kinds of food. They're not even real.

" Good morning Creator-sama, " Teipei bowed down as he greeted me. " Time for breakfast, the shelled corn is a little hard. " he pointed.

" I don't feel good eating that, " I looked like I was about to throw up, " I'm going to drink the tea, and have bread instead. "

" Okay..? " Teipei said, eating the shelled corn. " I'll fetch you some bread right away, Creator-sama! " he ran out.

I looked out the window, and the cave was lit perfectly, this is the best thing about the inn, it looks nice when you look out in the morning. But at night, you can't see anything so its a pain.

Later on, we have headed out of the inn after saying goodbye to the owners, it was a good experience for us. I had my bread, and I have stuffed some more somewhere. I made it disappear using magic. I don't know where it goes though.

" The next city, will be Quilnad City right? " Teipei looked at the map, frustrating it was really hard to read no matter what. I didn't know how to draw maps when I was a child so I regret that.

" Pretty much. " I looked up in the sky, " Quilnad is the city floating on a sea. " I said, and I made the water clear and clean.

" Waaah~?! " Teipei sparkled, " My mother always told me Quilnad is a very lively city to live in! " he said. His mother? I don't know her.

" It has strict policies though, because of its beauty of being the only city wherein its on water, they want to keep it that way. " Or, I would want to keep it that way.

" What are the policies Creator-sama? " Teipei, asked, tilting his head to face mine.

" If I remember correctly, you shouldn't wear shoes, especially if they're dirty. " I put my hand on my chin, " .. and no killing activities there, the blood would splatter. "

" Ergh.. " Teipei looked away, he is kinda wary of the words blood, gore, and other harsh words. He is still a kid after all.

" Stop being like that. " I sighed and flicked his forehead, " Come on, we are nearing the Central City, don't you want to get that imposter out? "

" C-Creator..sama.. " His eyes were wide open, and he has his both hands on hus forehead, " Yes! " he nodded and ran to me.

Here we go again, Quilnad. What adventures lie here this time?
