Tytania (タイタニア), is a Japanese space opera light novel series created by Yoshiki Tanaka (mainly known for the Legend of the Galactic Heroes). The series is 5 volumes long, and ran between 1988 and 2015 with a 22 year hiatus between volumes 3 and 4.
In 2008, Tytania was adapted to a 26 episode anime, and a 9-volume manga.
Note: Over the years, Tytania was published by various editors (Tokuma Shoten, Kodansha, Square Enix, etc.), with different illustrators (Katsumi Michihara, Akira Kasahara, Haruhiko Mikimoto, etc.)
