The first book I want to translate is called チロヌップのきつね or "Chironeppu no Kitsune." which means pretty much "The Fox of Chironeppu." It is a story which takes place on an island in a northern ocean. People begin coming to the island, and the book details the relationships, good and bad, between the people and the foxes. As I'm sure you probably guessed, the island's name is Chironeppu.

	I will be using my Talk page for my own translations. I am going to start with stories or works from kids books, and translate them, posting them here on my talk page.
