Revision as of 16:02, 12 August 2014

Thanks for helping out with the cleaning up of the references. --Trev lite (talk) 14:48, 6 August 2014 (CDT)

No problem. I'll try to comment all unnecessary notes out. Something like personal opinions, obvious (story) explanations, TL/TLC requests and so on are not translator/reference notes.
And they're therefore not something the reader should be exposed to. --Lamaroxy (talk) 19:24, 6 August 2014 (CDT)

Editing

I don't care if you do little clean-ups, like making removing personal comments (I'm usually lazy when formatting it for wiki, so I don't really change anything from my pastebin stuff), but if you're going to change terminology, then you'd better do your job properly.

As you can see here,

http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index.php?title=Mushoku_Tensei_Names_and_Terminology

there's no current consensus on 'touki' vs 'fighting spirit'.

I spent a lot more time translating than you do editing, so if you're going to act like a hero who waltzes in and "betters" everything, you'd best start reading the discussion threads like it's your bible and do your fucking job properly. I'm busy enough without having to constantly go through recent changes to pick out stupid changes like yours. And yes, it happens often. Retards come along all the time. If you think you can do a better job with terminology than I can, how about you go fucking translate your own chapters?

To help you empathise with me, please imagine this: you've just spent 4 to 13 hours carving out a fucking wooden statue. A lot of that time comes from determining what the best angles are, how best you should carve the slopes, the pose, the positioning. When you're finally, finally done with it, and put it on display, 20 fucking idiots come along with their own scalpels, take a 30 second look at it, and suddenly decide that they know better than you in that blink of an eye, and start hacking into your scultor like fucking termites. Also you have 2 economics assignments due the next day, lol.

How a bout you calm down a bit? Last time I checked there was no agreement on it. I would have reverted it myself after my next check through the terminologies and its discussion page.
Also, the terminology page states that Rudi's family name is Greyrat but according to the guidelines (American English) and chapter 96 (color+animal) it should be Grayrat. I believe you complained about this yourself already and even though you're in the right you started using grey instead of gray yourself. --Lamaroxy (talk) 09:02, 12 August 2014 (CDT)
