Since Taiga didn't use a needle, it really should be [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acupressure acupressure]. The technique is almost the same, but uses presure of the fingers, rather than needles.

Acupuncture?

Since Taiga didn't use a needle, it really should be acupressure. The technique is almost the same, but uses presure of the fingers, rather than needles.
