"prideful grandpa" should clearly be "proud old man". "Proud" over "prideful" because "prideful" refers to actions while "proud" can refer to mien, and "old man" over "grandpa" because although they're the same word in Japanese, in English "grandpa" implies familial relation and there's no reference to that here.
