Format Standards
Narrative Tense
Narrative is in the past tense.
Thought Dialogue
Thought dialogue should be prefaced with an em dash (—) and be in italics.
Style of English
American English is to be used.
Japanese Honorifics
Japanese honorifics are to be kept as there are no equivalent in English.
Image Placement
Images should be placed alongside the corresponding text.
Names
The list will be done in order of appearance.
Characters
Names will retain their native format. (i.e. Family name followed by given name.)
Main/Primary Characters
- Sai Akuto ─ The main protagonist of Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou. He is predicted to become the 'Demon King.' He is assigned to Class 1-A upon transferring into Constant Magic Academy. He is also head and only member of the Public Morals Committee.
- Hattori Junko ─ She is the representative of Class 1-A. Her family are followers of Suhara.
- Hiroshi Miwa ─ Akuto's self proclaimed follower. He is completely devoted to Akuto and addresses him as 'aniki.' He is also part of Class 1-A.

- Soga Keena ─ A frivolous and mischievous girl who Akuto knows from when he was in an orphanage. She is also part of Class 1-A but never attends class.
- Korone ─ A L’Isle-Adam, a type of artificial android, that is sent by the government to observe Akuto.
- Etou Fujiko ─ She is the head of the girls' dorms and is trying to use Akuto's powers for her own purposes.
Supporting/Secondary Characters
- Torii Mitsuko ─ She is the school nurse and teacher for Class 1-A. She is rather vocal about her plans to resurrect Akuto for research when he dies.
- Lily Shiraishi ─ President of the Student Council. She is always seen with a pointed witch hat on.
- Hattori Yuuko ─ Younger sister of Hattori Junko. She is an idol and goes by the stage name Hoshino Yuri to the general public.
Antagonists
- Teruya Eiko ─ She is a spy sent by the Teruya family. Her family follows Suhara as well but has different interpretations of the doctrines from those of the Hattori family.
- CIMO 8 ─ A group of eight elite agents from within the Cabinet Intelligence and Magic Office who are trying to start a war. They specialize in intelligence gathering and anti-magic combat.
- Yamato Bouichirou ─ He is connected to Teruya Eiko and leader of CIMO 8. He seems to have an intense dislike for Akuto.
- Mister X ─ A seemingly insane and perverted man with a fixation on "art." He uses speakers in his coat to play his personally developed style of music which renders others unable to use magic. He is a member of CIMO 8.
- 2V - a member of CIMO 8 who has the ability to manipulate Lilidans with magic and use them like dolls.
- Rubbers - a member of CIMO 8 with a rubber-like body, he is noted by 2V to be a masochist.
Other Entities
- Yatagarasu ─ An artificial spirit in the form of a black crow-like bird. Tasked with gathering basic information from students and to predict their future role in society.
- Peterhausen ─ A 15 meter long dragon and the most recently discovered relic of the last demon king.
Gods/Religious Beliefs
- Ko Ro ─ Views charitable actions as virtuous. Followers: Sai Akuto.
- Suhara ─ Views valiant actions as virtuous. Followers: Hattori Family, Teruya Family.
- Muleet ─ The god of the nation's land.
- Markt ─ ??? Followers: Korone

- Constant Magic Academy ─ The main setting for the story.
- Iga Village ─ Home of the Hattori Family.
