妾 - Erm, are you sure this means child? This means concubine or mistress. I do not recall this word to have the meaning of "child" attached to this kanji.

アッパラパ - Apropos? Not really sure what that word is, but this word SHOULD be a combination of アッパッパ (natural idiot, 能天気 , アホ) lit. loose fitting dress + パッパラパー (idiot fool) lit. german word papperlapapp converted into katakana.
