Volume 7, Chapter 3

Then came summer vacation. It's the most joyous time of the year. More vacations, the

better. Long live the "less stressful education" movement.

For the first few days, I thoroughly enjoyed my rest, slept in every day without even waking

up. Ah, it was so wonderful to be able to sleep even when the sun was shining.

During this time, I unplugged my phone and turned off my cell phone, a way to escape the

constraints of the world. Every meal was curry, but I just had to accept it.

I thought about visiting my parents on this rare day off, but they wouldn't let me, so I just

let it go. They were both elderly, but they still looked like newlyweds.

I turned on my phone after a long time, and immediately a call came in.

"Natsuru -san... you're out of range again."

From the slightly resentful tone, it was obvious it was Akane; it went without saying.

    "Ah, sorry, I was sleeping."

"Have you been sleeping all the time?"

    "Yeah."

    It was completely true.

"Really... your body clock will get messed up."

"It's already messed up, so it's okay. Even in the middle of the night, I'm not sleepy at all."

Another fact. Or rather, the later it gets, the clearer my mind becomes, only gradually

starting to drift off as the light outside brightens.

"This isn't good for your health... Did you buy your swimsuit?"

    "Yes."

Thinking carefully, I've only been out that once, staying home the rest of the time. It's rare

for me to get out and about, and the world outside seems so dazzling.

    "Really... Let's go shopping together."

No, no, no, I'm a little... Sure enough, it's quicker if we buy alone. And I have reservations

about Akane's taste; it would be troublesome if she chose something ridiculous like

transparent material.

"That means we can go out and have fun."

Her voice seemed quite energetic, no longer weak.

"Um, ah... by the way, I have something to ask."

    "Huh?"

"Does going out mean we have to stay overnight?"

    "Eh..."

Even though I was on the other end of the line, I could clearly feel Akane blushing.

    "Why...why do you ask..."

"Because the ticket seems to include accommodation."

"Is...that's right...is there anything wrong with that...?"

    "Not really..."

    "So it's okay, right? That's great...I'm relieved."

Why was I relieved again? Reassurance is a good thing. Akane and I agreed on a meeting

place and other things before ending the call. She seemed to want to talk for a while, but I

wanted to watch TV.

"I'm really looking forward to it,"

Seppuku Tiger said again, like a Shizuku voice.

"I'm looking forward to it a little, after all, I've never been there."

"I'm looking forward to it too."

Why? Aren't you a doll? It's okay if it gets wet.

"Hey, Natsuru, what will happen between you and Akane -san? Just imagining it makes me

excited."

    "Hey, I didn't say I'd bring you."

    "Oh, is that so?"

"Why would I bring my Entrails Animal? What if I get into trouble?"

There are many situations where bringing an Entrails Animal can make you suspicious.

Shortly after its release, a strange uncle chased elementary school students wielding a

stuffed animal with internal organs. In his confession, he apparently said, "Lo oking at the

stuffed animal made me feel compelled to do this." He was apparently a very honest office

worker.

Of course, I didn't want to be arrested.

    "You watch the house!"

    "This is so boring!"

"You'd be bored too, just stay put."

The Seppuku Tiger grumbled in a Shizuku -like voice, but I went downstairs. I don't have

ears for the complaints of non -human creatures.

So, I lazed around until that day.

The day of our outing arrived.

As expected, it was sunny, and I was in good spirits and a good mood. If it had rained, I

wouldn't have wanted to go out at all.

I was planning to take the train, so I met Akane at the station. I arrived at the station with

my bag on my back and found her waiting.

She waved when she saw me.

    "Sorry, were you waiting?"

"No, I just got here too,"

she said with a shy smile. Her white short -sleeved shirt was dazzling, giving me a very

summery vibe.

She glanced at the bag on my shoulder.

    "The bag is huge."

"There's no bag that's the perfect size."

This is the bag I used during my junior high school trip. It looks worn, but it's still usable.

It's especially nice because it won't break even after a bit of rough use.

    "Let's go, then."

    "Now?"

"Yes, because... I've been looking forward to today,"

Akane confessed, "I was so excited yesterday I didn't sleep well."

Oh, I slept so soundly, I feel bad.

After buying the ticket and reaching the platform, I suddenly remembered my date with

Shizuku... No, no, no, don't think about it. In my mind, that date isn't really a date.

The train was packed with families, so we boarded and headed for our destination.

We changed trains several times, and with each change, the number of families and

couples increased.

Akane kept talking to me, unusually positive. Has she finally gotten over her languid state

at school?

She stood the entire way, but since she was young, it didn't matter. She was still full of

energy when she arrived at her destination.

"Ah, I see it, over there,"

Akane pointed out after exiting the station. A spire could be seen poking out slightly.

"From here, it looks like the one in Urayasu."

    "Is it a deliberate imitation?"

"I think it shouldn't be too obvious. It should be a different shape if you look closer."

It's definitely a completely different shape in the photo. If they deliberately made it look

the same from the station, that's quite a feat.

    "Let's go,"

Akane said, walking happily as if she wanted to hum a song right now.

"Being able to play and stay overnight with Natsuru -san...it's like a dream."

    "Are your parents okay?"

"A junior high classmate is here, and I've already agreed on a statement with her."

Akane blushed. Wow, so innocent. If I were being chased by my father with a Japanese

sword at this moment, it would be like a manga.

    "Let's have fun."

    "Yeah."

"We'll play around in the facilities, swim, eat together..."

    "Yeah."

"We might even get to watch the fireworks tonight, which is exciting."

    "Yeah."

"And then we'll talk so much... I'm so shy."

    "Really?"

"Yeah, it's me, it's my first time with a boy... I told one of the seniors on the library

committee about what happened today, and she was surprised. She said, 'Akane does this,

too!'"

    "So that's a first experience."

"Yeah... Na -Natsuru -san, that's a strange way to put it..."

    "Can you switch with me?"

    "Switch... eh!?"

    I finally spoke.

"Akane, it's not me who's talking..."

She was startled, looking around. It was Shizuku next to her, and it was Kondou Mikoto

who was covering my mouth.

As the saying goes, Akane stumbled. It's not her fault; I almost stumbled too.

"The president and Kondou -san...! Why...!"

    "That's our part,"

    Kondou Mikoto puffed up.

"I thought you were a little suspicious. So you rushed out?"

"What's with the rush?... How could that be... I don't know what you mean... Here... How

could that be... Wait a minute..."

Her words were incoherent, completely stunned. I'd probably do the same thing.

    Kondou Mikoto calmly replied,

"I asked the president to investigate."

    "Yes, President!"

    "Yes,"

    Shizuku replied.

    "It took a little effort."

"It took a little effort... I kept it a secret..."

"Your class monitor is a bit of a mouthy guy. And did you tell the librarian when you'd ask

for leave?"

    "Ah..."

Akane's face turned pale. So, Shizuku, all she needed was this information? Amazing.

    "Well, that's it."

It felt like the devil was laughing. Akane and I couldn't help but think, "Disobeying the

president is simply impossible."

"Don't be so upset. Just have fun."

Was she trying to comfort her? I didn't mind, but Akane seemed deeply upset.

    "Kondou -san..."

    "Hmm?"

"Are you guys staying the night too...?"

    "Of course, everything's ready."

Kondou Mikoto held up her bag, which was a bit small for a woman. Shizuku was dragging

a wheeled suitcase.

    "As expected..."

    Akane said.

"Okay, I'm not mad at you for jumping the gun anymore."

Kondou Mikoto patted Akane on the back. So, was she mad all along?

"Let's go swimming, it's nice weather. It reminds me of playing in the Amazon, watching

out for piranhas."

You're the only high school student who's had that experience.

Akane sighed and said, "I see." The most important thing for a person is to learn to let go,

in every sense of the word.

The four of us walked into the theme park entrance one after another. Families and

couples looked happy, but as for us, I was fine, but Akane was incredibly depressed.

    "Um... President,"

    Akane asked timidly.

    "What's up?"

    "Where are you staying...?"

    "Same as you guys."

It was a surprising answer, but on second thought. Maybe the rooms are right next door.

    "Oh..."

    "Oh, right,"

    Kondou Mikoto clapped her hands.

    "There's a special guest."

    "Guest?"

I couldn't help but exclaim. The guests this guy was referring to were never good. They

were usually not human, but spiders or scorpions. I always wondered why I wasn't stopped

during quarantine.

"Ah, Natsuru, you're trying to treat me like a fool again."

"Because you always do stupid things."

"This time, she's a good person. Unlike the previous ones, she's a normal guest."

You know you weren't normal before.

Then, Kondou Mikoto coughed and waved her arms like the host of a song and dance

show.

    "That's it! Please come in~"

Seeing the guest's face made me extremely happy, while Akane felt even more depressed.

Smiling at the entrance was Sakura Kaede.

Sakura Kaede approached us with her usual angelic smile.

    "Good morning."

    "Good morning, good morning."

That joyful voice was, of course, mine. I was given a card in the cafeteria. Summer vacation

has arrived again. I thought I wouldn't see you for a long time, but I'm so happy to meet you

here.

"Long time no see, Natsuru -san."

She responded to me nicely. Wow, it's so beautiful. I had already forgotten about the

cafeteria incident. Really.

    "You, you came too."

"Shizuku and Kondou -san invited me."

"I stayed at her apartment last time, so I'm trying to repay her,"

Shizuku explained. "You're so great, President! This is the first time in my life I respect you

so much."

"You seem to be having a lot of fun staying here. I might be a bother, but I hope you'll be

happy."

No, no, no, that's not the point. I'm the one who might do something inappropriate and

foolish, so please be open -minded.

    "Um..."

Sakura Kaede glanced at us cautiously.

"Natsuru -san... where's the female Natsuru -san...?"

    "Hey..."

    "She'll be there soon,"

    Shizuku answered before I could.

"She just contacted me and said she'll be a little late."

    "Really?"

Sakura Kaede looked disappointed and lost. Hmm, it's surprising to see a beautiful woman

look like that. So, Sakura Kaede's target is a woman like me.

I almost felt as dejected as Akane, but I managed to pull myself together. Whatever

happens, I can use this as an opportunity to deepen our relationship.

Sakura Kaede turned to me and said,

    "Natsuru -san."

    "Yes, yes..."

"As a rival in love, I won't lose to you."

    "...Hmm."

So that's what I thought. Can't I find a way to deal with this complicated feeling that's

welling up in my heart?

And Sakura Kaede's target is me, a woman; she doesn't even care about me as a man right

now. She probably came here thinking the same thing.

Sakura Kaede cutely cheered herself up. As expected, I felt a little disappointed. Akane's

spirits were low, Shizuku was still the same, and Kondou Mikoto was talking like a fool,

especially with all her energy.

    "Okay~ Let's go then!"

Led by Kondou Mikoto's booming voice, we entered the theme park.

This theme park allows direct access to the hotel from the inside, or rather, the theme park

and hotel are adjacent, giving it a sense of unity. Of course, you can also enter and exit

through other entrances.

We decided to enter the theme park first and then go to the hotel to drop off our luggage.

    "Wow, it's huge!"

Kondou Mikoto exclaimed idiotically upon entering the theme park. This theme park has

many water -related attractions, and each one is enormous. There are several swimming

pools, so of course, they require a lot of space.

The park is divided into two main areas. One side has water -related attractions, but they're

reserved for casual wear.

The other side, with attractions and pools, is reserved for swimsuits. Regular clothing isn't

allowed here, but a T -shirt seems acceptable.

"There's a hot spring here, right?"

"Yes, there's steam coming out over there, I think..."

Akane pointed to the left, where steam was indeed rising.

    "Okay, let's go there too."

    "What about the pool?"

    I interrupted.

"Of course, we'll go too. We want to experience everything. Ah~ So busy!"

I heard Kondou Mikoto talking even though I hadn't done anything yet. The initial

questioning of Akane had completely vanished, and she had already given way to a theme

park -like mood. That's quite impressive.

"Okay, let's go to the hotel first," I said,

heading towards the hotel, which was a cut above the other facilities.

I checked in at the lobby, and the receptionist said there were changing rooms, so I could

change and head straight to the theme park.

"Can you walk around the hotel in a swimsuit?"

the receptionist replied gently, her eyes sparkling.

    "Sorry, no."

"What? I was just thinking about showing off my devilishly sexy and handsome figure!"

Kondou Mikoto looked bored. "What are you thinking about?"

The lady continued smiling. A lot of people must have asked this question.

After taking the key card, the waiter took the luggage to the room.

    "This way,"

    the waiter opened the door.

    "Uh..."

I said. Next to me, Akane lowered her head.

She and I were in the same room. We had originally planned to stay together as a couple.

The ticket the class monitor gave us was for a couple, after all.

Shizuku and the others' room was right next door.

    "Ah—what? So we're sharing a room,"

Kondou Mikoto said. They were: Kondou Mikoto, Shizuku, and Sakura Kaede, all sharing a

room.

"Akane —no matter how you look at it, this is too much —?"

Excited about coming to the theme park, her tone didn't sound reprimanding, but rather

like bullying, embarrassment.

"Eh... how could it be... a coincidence..."

    "Is it a coincidence —"

I listened to the conversation while looking at Sakura Kaede. I thought she'd be

heartbroken.

But she didn't seem to care. Ah, because I'm a man, right?

"But —a man and a woman in the same room is a bit too much —"

"There's no way we can plan this. If we have separate rooms, we'll have to pay separately.

Isn't that a waste..."

    "Then I'll switch with you."

    "No, no...!"

Akane was desperate, probably desperate. The reason my description was so ambiguous

was because Shizuku kept glaring at me.

    "Natsuru -san"

    "Yes, yes..."

"I don't mean to judge your actions, but please know your limits. As the student council

president, that's all I'm saying."

As the student council president, huh. I seemed to emphasize those words, wondering if

there was any special meaning. It didn't matter.

As long as I could escape that terrifying gaze, anything would be fine. Anyway, let's take

shelter in our room.

From our hotel room, we had a panoramic view of the theme park. That was probably one

of the selling points.

There are two beds, placed a little distance apart.

    "Um... well... Natsuru -san..."

    Akane stammered.

"Guess, it's still not okay, sharing a room..."

    "It's okay."

I couldn't say it was not okay at this point, could I?

I put my luggage away and was just thinking about what to do next when the phone rang. I

picked up the phone.

"Natsuru? We're going swimming, come quickly."

It was Kondou Mikoto, so impatient.

"Meet downstairs by the locker room. If you dawdle, I'll tell everyone about you wetting

the bed in kindergarten."

Hey, don't talk so loudly! What if Sakura Kaede hears you?

I said, "Idiot, I'll be there right now," and hung up. I didn't know what she'd do if I left her

alone. It would be easy for her to spread my embarrassing story around the hotel.

Anyway, I had to get my swimsuit out first, so I unzipped my bag.

    "Hello~"

    "Wow!"

I couldn't help but cry out. Inside was a doll with its internal organs exposed, a Seppuku

Tiger.

    "Why are you in there?!"

"You didn't seem to be planning on bringing me, so I came in on my own."

    "You...can you walk?"

    "For short distances."

He'd changed direction a few times, so was that after he started walking?

    "Um...Natsuru -kun..."

Akane's expression was a little uneasy.

"Ah...sorry, I have a messenger named Seppuku Tiger. I scared myself by finding it in my

bag..."

"No, um...I have it in my bag, too..."

She sheepishly pulled out Seppuku Black Rabbit.

    "Hey~ Tiger."

"Isn't that Black Rabbit? Long time no see."

"You look quite spirited, don't you?"

The two dolls had been laughing non -stop since they met. What were they laughing

about?

"Why is Black Rabbit here too?"

"Um...um...because he wanted to come no matter what..."

Beneath her brow, Akane replied, shrinking.

    "There are two talking dolls."

    "Don't be so cruel,"

Seppuku Black Rabbit said with a smile.

"Well, I thought Akane's attitude was suspicious, so I asked her about it. She even said she

was staying the night with you. Now we have to go."

    "The entertainment facilities and swimming."

    "Isn't that fun?"

    "So you can swim?"

"How can a doll swim? Did you get shot in the head?"

It looked at me with pity (probably). Damn it.

Anyway, can they float? They're so light, maybe they can.

...That doesn't matter. Let's first figure out what to do with this situation.

"Hey, what should we do? If Sakura Kaede finds out that the dolls can talk, she'll be

terrified."

"Oh? Is that guy here too?"

    "Don't be so casual."

"We'll try our best not to get caught. It'll be fine."

What do you mean it'll be fine? It's not just Sakura Kaede, it'll be a disaster if the hotel staff

find out, too.

I felt like I was going to break out in a cold sweat —just thinking about that, the phone rang

again. Reflexively, I picked up the phone.

"Hey, hey, hey, hurry up! Do you really want me to expose your embarrassing story?"

    "Stop it, I'll go now,"

I said, and hung up. That idiot, Kondou Mikoto, had absolutely no regard for my hard work.

    "Ah—Akane, let's go first."

    "...That's true."

We stuffed the dolls into our bags, trying to ignore their curses of "Wow, what are you

doing?" and "Curse you, you bastard." We took the bag containing our swimsuits downstairs.

On the first floor, there was a changing room a little further away from the lobby. If it were

closer to the lobby, it would look like someone was walking around half -naked.

I exchanged my ticket for a single -day free pass, which didn't matter if it got wet, before

going in. It was quite a hassle.

Of course, the changing rooms were separate for men and women, but I couldn't help but

check myself —a good man. Is it an occupational hazard to sometimes not know your

gender?

The changing room was pretty nice, with theme park mascots printed everywhere, which

would get even non -children excited.

    I quickly changed and left.

The piercing sun, the giant pool, and the waterfall cascading down from the mountain. Oh,

it's like being in another world. I almost couldn't help but throw my hands on my hips and

laugh out loud.

    "Natsuru, it's too slow!"

Kondou Mikoto's idiotic voice dampened my enthusiasm. What a sentimentless woman.

"This is so noisy!" I thought as I turned towards the source of the noise —and was startled.

Standing there were Kondou Mikoto, Shizuku, and Sakura Kaede, all wearing swimsuits, of

course.

The waving Kondou Mikoto wore a red bikini with a pareo wrapped around her waist. Her

top was a two -piece, and by the way, were her breasts really that big? Could they be fake?

As for Shizuku, well, there's that tall mannequin standing in department stores wearing

trendy swimsuits, right? It's that one. Her breasts are clearly big and slender, so it's obvious

she's eye -catching. It's a purple -based bikini. Is she wearing one too?

Next up is Sakura Kaede. She was wearing an orange and yellow one -piece swimsuit and

looked a little shy. She was so beautiful with the right curves and curves. She was simply the

embodiment of beauty, no less beautiful than a print model. I really reg retted not bringing a

camera.

Of course, what surprised and stunned me was the way Sakura Kaede looked in her

swimsuit. Who else could it be?

I was just fascinated by Sakura Kaede when Kondou Mikoto approached. Hey, you're

blocking my view. I can't see Sakura Kaede.

"You really are so slow in doing anything."

"So annoying. Something's going on up ahead."

    "What's going on?"

    "Uh... I'll tell you later."

After all, Sakura Kaede was nearby.

"Oh... well, never mind, let's go swimming."

Kondou Mikoto seemed to be obsessed with play. I had no objection, so I nodded just as

Akane arrived.

    "I'm... so sorry... I'm late."

As usual, she walked in with her head lowered. According to etiquette, I should also

describe her in her swimsuit. It was a pale pink one -piece, and her figure... well... she tried

really hard. I quite like girls like that, hmm.

"What are you doing, Akane? Hold your head up high."

    "Hey... hey..."

Akane clutched the towel, bewildered. I thought she was too timid, but Kondou Mikoto

looked like an older man.

    "You're so cute, look."

She forcefully pulled the towel away, and Akane blushed with a "Ah!"

"Oh~ Isn't she quite cute? And she's got a nice figure, don't you think? Natsuru?"

I didn't know how to comment, so I stuck to my mute principle.

    "So, how's it going?"

    "What?"

    "Comparing me and Akane."

    "What's going on..."

    What are you talking about?

It's like she wants me to judge them. Seeing her with her hands on her hips and her chest

thrust out suggestively, I know it without even asking. But, do you want me to stare intently

at you two and compare them?

If it's purely a comparison, it would be more accurate to bring a tape measure, a fat meter,

and a scale. But you can't just say that.

    "Anything's fine."

"Wow, that's too much. Compliment which one is pretty, which one has a better figure,

and see which one gets excited."

    "Who gets excited?"

"What? You're so weak at this age?"

Well, it's true that my desires have waned since I learned to transform.

    "Praise them now."

    "Don't force me."

"You wouldn't praise them if I didn't force you. Or is there someone else you like who's not

one of us?"

    Yes, you know.

    "President, is it the president?"

Why do I have my eyes on that man -eating crocodile?

Well, I know she has a great figure. Shizuku, probably feeling the sun's glare, now wears

sunglasses, looking like a movie star, you can't tell she's a high school student at all.

Akane let out a look of despair.

    "Wow... so... so unfair..."

"Indeed, I really want a bomb attack,"

Kondou Mikoto said. "Don't say such scary things so casually."

I'm even more concerned about this.

I feigned indifference and walked over to Sakura Kaede.

    "S... Sakura Kaede."

Oh no, even I know I'm nervous. This is my first time swimming with Sakura Kaede.

    "This swimsuit... really suits you."

    "Thank you,"

Sakura Kaede smiled. Oh, it's like a flower blooming in a theme park. My expression is so

old-fashioned.

"I'm so happy to be swimming with Sakura Kaede."

"But I can't swim very well."

    "Ah, then I'll teach you."

    "No need,"

Sakura Kaede refused, keeping a smile on her face.

"Thank you for the trouble. I'll ask Shizuku to teach me. Don't worry."

Hey—I wanted to teach you. But as expected of Sakura Kaede, she always keeps a certain

distance from boys. Countless men have tried to cross this barrier and been shot down.

From behind, I hear voices like, "Wow, I got dumped!" "Um, Natsuru -san, and us..." I don't

need to explain who said which.

Sakura Kaede keeps turning her neck.

"Natsuru -san... hasn't the female Natsuru -san arrived yet?"

    "She's almost here,"

the movie -star-like student council president replies. Hello? I'm right here.

"Natsuru -san, it's so late, she hasn't arrived yet."

Why'd you ask me? I answer helplessly.

    "She'll be here soon."

"Then let's go pick her up later."

How we can get her isn't clear, but Shizuku says it anyway.

"Then let's either play or swim. What are you standing around for?"

    "Okay, let's swim!"

Kondou Mikoto is the first to agree, running off with a cry of "Oooooh~!!" No warm -up

exercises? You can't do that, right?

You can play in the facilities, but let's swim first.

The park has a 50 -meter long pool, one with a slide, and one with a 100 -meter

circumference and currents. Uh... lots of them. It shouldn't be too crowded, but I was

surprised to hear that they have to limit the number of people entering on the hottest days.

Today there aren't that many people, so we can have some free time.

Sakura Kaede and Shizuku are doing something at one end of the pool. Shizuku seems to

be teaching Sakura Kaede how to swim. It would be foolish to doubt whether Shizuku can

swim, this guy can do everything.

    "Natsuru~!"

Kondou Mikoto waved her hand vigorously.

    "There's a beach here~ Come on~"

Do you think I'm a child? Of course I'll go.

Akane and I went there together. This was the only area with a roof, and it recreated the

scenery of a southern coast. There were also coconut trees that looked like real ones.

    "Let's swim further."

"Go ahead and swim by yourself."

"How cool! Just try to see how far you can swim."

"The pool wall is right where I can see it,"

I said to Kondou Mikoto. How can I reach the top if I want to swim there?

"Huh, idiot! I'm going to swim by myself without paying any attention to you."

"Shh!" cried Kondou Mikoto, jumping into the water. She's such an energetic woman.

With exaggerated splashes, she swam. I've heard before that this girl can swim so calmly in

a river in South America with crocodiles. She said, "Oh my god, parasites are really scary!"

But it's the crocodiles that are scary, I guess.

Akane had gone somewhere, but now I think of her. She's back, clutching the rented float.

    "Huh? You can't swim?"

    "A little, but I'm worried..."

she said. Just knowing a little is just a matter of strength, and swimming style should

improve with more swimming.

    "Let's go then."

    "Okay."

    "I'm back —!"

    "Woohoo!"

Akane and I were both startled. Kondou Mikoto made her way onto the beach, dripping

with water.

    "Have you finished swimming yet?!"

    "Yeah, that was fun."

    "So fast..."

"Speed is everything when escaping. When being chased by Narcotics Organization guards,

there's often a river right before your eyes. You can't say you can't swim in that situation,

right?"

    "I don't have the experience, I don't know."

    "No, you~"

    Well, I guess I can't.

Kondou Mikoto even said, "Then come with me to Central America, the most dangerous

place." Don't be ridiculous, wouldn't that increase the risk of getting killed?

Akane and I entered the water from the beach —not seawater, of course. Kondou Mikoto

also said, "I'll swim again!" and followed us.

Let's enjoy the swim for a while. The sand feels so good underfoot. It must be a hassle to

take care of her.

Akane clutched the float and drifted, while Kondou Mikoto continued to scream and swim,

like a motorboat charging into a school of fish.

As I pulled Akane's float, Kondou Mikoto swam around and returned.

    "Hey, Natsuru."

    "What's up?"

    "Someone just hit on me."

    "Oh,"

I replied, and she got angry.

"Hey, don't you have anything else to say?"

"No, I see. Someone actually hit on me."

    "That's them."

Glancing over, I saw some college -looking people, even with women, chatting happily.

    "That's quite a twist!"

    "What did you say?"

"Look, they're bringing women with them."

    "Oh, really."

Kondou Mikoto shaded her eyes with one hand, observing the group of men.

"Hit me again after you? How rude!"

"That's the right choice. They must have been disappointed after you hit on them."

"No, no, no, they gave up because I was so beautiful, so they picked on girls of similar

weight."

What a positive way of thinking! Maybe I should learn that.

Akane still held onto the float, swimming in a clockwise circle.

    "Why don't you swim straight?"

"I don't know why I just keep turning..."

What a mysterious propulsion system. She leaned forward as she said "Hey!", but this time

her body was bent counterclockwise. What kind of joke is this?

Kondou Mikoto seemed to have forgotten about the flirtation, floating face up in the air.

Are you a jellyfish?

    "Hey~ Natsuru"

    "What's up?"

"Are you expecting my swimsuit to fall off and yell 'Ah~ yuh~'?"

    "What are you talking about?"

"But unfortunately, this one actually has clasps. It's just a knot in the clasp, so expecting it

is pointless."

    Are you mentally ill?

If it were Sakura Kaede, she'd not only expect it but also fantasize about it, but you

wouldn't even think about it. Anyway, don't say such things out loud.

"Ah~ Akane's doesn't look good either, what about that swimsuit?"

Kondou Mikoto said defiantly, staying afloat and glancing to the side.

Akane blushed and covered herself with the float.

    "Kondou -san... so vulgar..."

"Really? If a cute girl reveals herself, I'd go 'Oh~?' too."

This guy was a weird uncle in his previous life, not a specific person, just a weird uncle.

"I... don't care about these things..."

"Hmm, I don't want to take them off either, but isn't it nice to see others do it?"

    "So revealing..."

I feel the same way, too open. Is this kind of thinking innate? It's been like this since

kindergarten, it seems.

"Natsuru really won't be happy if anyone except Sakura Kaede takes them off?"

    "I don't deny it."

"Hmm... but don't you think that person's defense is too strong?"

"How can a swimsuit protect you? You're not wearing armor."

"No, I'm talking about your personality. Well, I don't think she'd reveal herself."

Yeah, that's true. Although she has a somewhat natural vibe, she's still reserved where she

should be. Otherwise, she wouldn't be able to keep her distance from so many boys. But is

liking Entrails Animals natural...?

"The president doesn't look that old either."

"I can't even imagine that person revealing herself... huh?"

Kondou Mikoto stopped floating, her feet touching the sand.

"...It's rare that you would take the initiative to tell the president."

    "Really?"

"...Do you care about the president a lot?"

    "How is that possible?"

Even if the Earth's orbit were to shift, it wouldn't be possible. Although she is a beauty and

smart, there is absolutely no way I can... How many times do I have to say it?

"Oh~ That's good, you are secretly dating the president?"

    "What are you talking about?"

    "Of course it happened."

    "That was a coincidence."

"How could it be such a coincidence? A date can't happen without one party inviting you."

    "I didn't invite her, and I wasn't invited."

    "You're lying."

    Yes, I was lying.

Oh no, this isn't going well. If I just followed her lead, it would become a date. Can't you

just think of it as a punishment game?

"It's strange that someone as unrefined as you can be so close to the president."

    "No, they're not."

"Are you radiating strange waves to attract the president, like an illegal radio station?"

"What do you take me for? If I had to say, I'm radiating waves to alienate the president."

    "You're lying again."

"What do you take me for?"

"Then why is the president behind you?"

I turned around and exclaimed, "Wow!"

Shizuku was still standing behind me, still looking at me with that look that strongly

recommended M. Even in such hot weather, I felt a chill running down my spine. If Sakura

Kaede hadn't been beside her, I would have had a heart attack.

    "Are you talking about me?"

    Shizuku asked.

    "No, not..."

"I'm talking about you, the president."

    Kondou Mikoto said something unnecessary.

"Oh, you care about me, that's really nice."

"It's just a normal chat, and with the president... it's not unrelated, but it's okay."

What am I talking about? This excuse is totally inadequate.

    "You're so hesitant,"

Kondou Mikoto said. Damn, it's in places like this that my intuition is so sharp.

"It's true that Natsuru -san and I are better than before."

    "Hey, wait a minute."

I was hesitant. Why could this woman say such a thing so easily? Akane, who had stopped

spinning, started to say "wuwu..." and sank.

"Shizuku and Natsuru -san are really good friends?"

Sakura Kaede asked naturally. No, no, no, that's not the case.

But before I could deny it, Shizuku spoke first.

    "You're really close."

"That's what I was thinking. But it's really rare for Shizuku to have male friends."

    "Yeah, it's rare."

"Natsuru -san, please play with Shizuku more often."

Ah, hearing that smile, I just can't seem to argue. Shizuku's situation is actually none of my

business. I actually want to be even closer to Sakura Kaede.

My opinion was completely ignored. Kondou Mikoto was "Hmm...", and Akane was

bubbling and sinking. Sakura Kaede was smiling, while Shizuku raised her lips slightly. What

kind of hell is this?

Shizuku glanced at the clock. A large clock in the shape of a coconut leaf hung on the wall.

    "Natsuru -san, let's go."

    "Huh?"

    "Go pick her up?"

    Who?

Shizuku came out of the water without waiting for my answer. Sakura Kaede waved and

said, "Goodbye~."

I had no choice but to follow.

"Hey, President, who are you picking up?"

    "Natsuru."

    "Isn't she here?"

    "The female Natsuru -san."

Oh, so that's how it's supposed to be. The female is supposed to be here in a little while,

and that's why Sakura Kaede is waving happily. Do I have to transform and go back? This is so

troublesome.

"Hey, female, can I just pretend I have a stomachache and can't come?"

"No, Kaede is looking forward to it."

    "But..."

"Or does Natsuru -san think Kaede's feelings don't matter?"

If that's said, isn't there just a way to comply?

    "And... don't look back."

    How do I do that?

    "Use the mirror over there."

There's a small shop in front of me that looks like a beach shack, with the menu written

directly on the mirror.

Looking closely, I see a figure in the mirror.

What? Isn't that the college student from before? Still talking to the girls. They look like

they're having a great time at the theme park. Really nice.

"Look at the girls talking to them."

    "I can't see clearly."

"It's Sayaka Nakao and Ryoka Yamakawa."

"...Hmm, is that the White Kämpfer!?"

Shizuku silently put her finger to her mouth.

It was a shock. The enemy was nearby. How did they know we were here today?

"They've been keeping close to us. They must be watching us."

    "When?"

    "Immediately after we got here."

    Did you notice it then?

Why they didn't attack us is still unknown, but it seems like we're playing along with the

enemy. We're really in the same boat. Is this the correct way to use it?

"So, Natsuru -san, can't you transform?"

    "Can't you transform later?"

"You want to transform in men's clothes? What will Kaede think?"

Indeed, it's more than just a bad taste.

Shizuku and I went to the hotel's changing room. Okay, how do we change next? I only

have this swimsuit on.

"Anyway, let's go to the women's changing room."

    "Got it... Hey!?"

    I protested, and Shizuku frowned.

"You want to wear men's clothes and become a woman? Don't you know shame?"

"If that's the case, then I'll have to enter the women's locker room as a man!"

    "Just go in,"

you said easily. First, I had to exit the men's locker room through the hotel door, then enter

the women's locker room. If the hotel staff saw me, I'd be seeing the police. And if there

were people in the women's locker room, I'd have to see the police  again. If I got arrested,

wouldn't you defend me?

"Don't let Kaede down. Hurry up,"

she said, and then she went into the women's locker room. Hey, don't leave me alone.

There's no point in being confused. Let's go to the men's locker room and change. I quickly

dried myself and put on my clothes.

Then, I quietly left for the hotel hallway. I looked around to make sure no one was around,

just like when I was a kid crossing the street. Then, I swallowed my breath and quickly ran

into the women's locker room, desperately hoping no one was there.

    No one, only Shizuku.

    "Put this on,"

she said, not giving me time to relax. Shizuku handed me a swimsuit. It's for women, right?

    "Is it the president's?"

    "No, I bought it."

Do you know my size after my transformation? After a quick check, it seems pretty

accurate. It seems she knows.

I glanced around the changing room. Oh, this is for women, isn't it? It's the same as the

men's. If there were, it might be a little problematic.

"Hurry up and get dressed! Someone might come in."

"I know. Is there a place I can hide?"

    "Why?"

"I want to change where you can't see me, President?"

    "I don't mind."

    "I do mind!"

What a terrifying woman! What do you think of my naked body?

I went behind the lockers. It wasn't a hiding place, just the second row, but at least I could

escape Shizuku's sight.

I exerted force on my wrists and transformed.

Ta-da! I became a woman. I still felt some resistance as I took off my clothes, but I closed

my eyes and took them off in one go. Ah... This is the second time I've seen myself naked as a

woman, after showering at Sakura Kaede's house.

I checked the swimsuit Shizuku gave me. What? This isn't a bikini. You want me to wear

this?

"You don't know how to wear a one -piece,"

Shizuku said. Indeed, that's true. So, how can you read my mind?

First, I put it on from the bottom. It's like underwear, with an elastic waistband. There are

knots on the sides, but they're just for decoration.

For the top, just treat it like a bra... that's all.

My breasts are still so big, and I always have to wear something like this. Women are really

great. I don't want them staring at me all the time, so I put on my swimsuit as if I were hiding

it. Buttoning it up in the back is so troublesome. How does everyone else put it on? My

hands almost cramped. Then, put on the shoulder straps, and it's done.

I walked over to Shizuku with the clothes in my arms. The student council president

seemed to sigh in admiration.

    "What a beautiful body!"

    "Don't say weird things."

    It was so disgusting.

"What should we do with the clothes?"

"We'll use the lockers over there. Let's go."

Okay, I'll obey. Shoulder to shoulder, we walked from the women's locker room to the

theme park.

Back at the beach in front, Sakura Kaede cheered.

"Ah~ Natsuru -san, I've been waiting for you for so long."

    "Hello... Hello,"

I replied cautiously, and Kondou Mikoto let out a "Tsk." Akane said, "Wow... Natsuru -san

has a great figure..." and sank back down. Why do you all only react like that?

    Only Sakura Kaede beamed.

"I'm so lonely without Natsuru -san,"

she said, a look of genuine relief. Ah, I'm such a jerk for making my crush look like that,

though there's nothing I can do about it.

    "Let's swim together,"

    she said, grabbing my arm.

    "Hey..."

    "Can't Natsuru -san swim?"

    "Yes, I can..."

"I'm not very good, please teach me."

It was so different from when I was with a guy.

    "Okay... then..."

I cautiously entered the water. Compared to men's clothing, the fabric was far less, so

wouldn't something like this melt in the water?

It didn't melt, but it just felt a little strange.

Sakura Kaede held out her hands with a smile, perhaps meaning, "Please hold on." As she

wished, I took both of her hands.

Sakura Kaede's hands are slender and soft, just like a girl's. If only I were a man at this

moment.

    "Then let's tread water first..."

Sakura Kaede screamed, moving her feet up and down. "You can swim a little bit, right?

Isn't this just practice for landlubbers?"

After a while, she screamed again and hugged me.

    "...Eh!?"

"Ah~ Natsuru -san, I almost drowned."

"Really? I see you were swimming well."

Sakura Kaede's grip on my neck was tight. It wasn't heavy in the water, but it felt

oppressive.

And she kept pushing her body up. Could I do that while I was a man? I changed and went

for it.

"S... Sakura Kaede... what are you doing...!"

It was Akane who protested, trembling.

"What are you doing? I'm asking Natsuru -san to teach me how to swim."

Then she said to me, "Is that so?" After all, it was the truth, so I nodded.

    "Isn't it just hugging..."

    "Because I almost drowned."

"If you want to swim so badly, I'll teach you..."

"Mishima -san is also using a float, right? I have Natsuru -san."

"What do you mean by have..."

Woohoo... Although they didn't curse or fight, these two people are always killing each

other. I'm always caught in the middle and at a loss.

Although I wanted to ask for help, Kondou Mikoto's expression was "That's great, you

deserve it", and Shizuku was looking in the other direction.

At this time, Shizuku came over.

    "Kaede, let's take a break."

"Eh? Shizuku, are you tired already?"

    "I'm a little hungry."

I looked at the clock. It's time to get hungry indeed.

Sakura Kaede said, holding her stomach.

"Then I'll go buy something. We can eat in the park."

"I'm afraid we can't do that in the water. There are benches there."

    "Then I'll go buy it."

I couldn't trouble Sakura Kaede at all. When I was about to buy it for her, Shizuku stopped

me with her eyes.

The student council president restrained me and said,

    "I'll pay for it."

    "It's okay, Shizuku."

"After all, you've been troubled to buy it."

Shizuku, you are inexplicably considerate. Is it my psychological effect that I think there is

something fishy going on?

"Then I'll go. What do you want to eat, Natsuru -san?"

    "Uh...anything..."

"If I can't find it, whatever."

"Then octopus balls or fried noodles..."

"I see. Natsuru -san and I'll have the same."

Sakura Kaede and Shizuku left the water to get our wallets. A moment later, Shizuku

returned alone.

"Natsuru -san, you can talk now."

    "What's up?"

I said bluntly in a casual tone.

"Why are you asking Sakura Kaede to buy it? I'll just go."

"I knew she'd say she'd buy it herself if I said that."

It was a calculated move, but what was the reason?

    "To decide the outcome quickly."

"What do you mean by outcome?"

"I just looked, and the university students have all gone home...it's coming."

As soon as I finished speaking, the sickle flew towards me.

I hurriedly dodged, while Shizuku dodged with certainty.

The sickle that had been thrust into the water was pulled up again. Holding one end of the

chain was the petite girl, Rika Ueda.

    "Rika -chan, come on!"

"Come on!" You're so energetic, even with your loli -like build. Is aura inversely

proportional to body size?

Shizuku's wristbands glowed. Instantly, she transformed into a red Kämpfer.

"Fighting in a place like this, people will see us."

"Rika isn't the type to care about that,"

    Shizuku tilted her head slightly.

"I am the type to care... Are you going to fight even if Kaede is here?"

    "Of course."

"You have a really bad temper."

Shizuku turned around and gave us succinct instructions.

    "Run!"

There was no room for negotiation, so I broke into a run after Shizuku.

I quickly understood Shizuku's motive: she wanted to avoid causing trouble for the other

tourists and to prevent the Kämpfer incident from becoming public. If this commotion only

ended up in the newspapers, she'd be lucky.

    "Ah—stop —!"

Rika chased after me. Looking closely, there was someone else in a swimsuit. It must be

Sayaka Nakao. As I ran, I naturally drifted alongside Shizuku.

    "Let's break up."

"Break up before we're even dating?"

"Stupid, I mean, we're running away separately. We can't cause any trouble at the theme

park."

    "Then where should we go?"

    "Somewhere deserted."

Shizuku turned right and ran behind the shop. As we parted ways, she said, "Be good,

Natsuru." Was it encouragement or sarcasm? I couldn't tell.

Anyway, I ran behind a small waterfall as tall as a person, ignoring the no -entry sign in the

street. A little girl screamed, "Ah —you can't do that!" Yes, that's unacceptable. Little sister,

don't ever be like me when you grow up.

On the other side was a complex backstage. There were extensive passageways for staff to

move around, and there was even an elevator for maintenance. There were cardboard boxes

on the ground; wouldn't a fire be dangerous?

    "Found it!"

At the same time, a scythe flew out, and I turned back and exerted force on my hand.

The fireball flew out, hitting the scythe and dispersing.

    "Ah, it's Natsuru,"

Rika said. You're catching up to me without even realizing it?

"Oh... I remember I could kill him, right?"

the kusarigama girl tilted her head in thought. What kind of worry is this? I'm not kidding.

Anyway, I protested.

    "You can!"

    "Really?"

    "Of course!"

"Hmm... well, never mind, s --!"

I thought she'd give up, but she didn't. It was as if she was determined to defeat me. This

Rika Ueda woman, unfazed by the narrow passage, swung her kusarigama.

    "S--!"

Whoosh. The blade grazed my hair. Wow, if it had hit my throat, I'd be gone from the neck

up.

I unleashed several blasts of fire. Sword and magic would have given me the upper hand,

but Rika remained calm.

    "So naive!"

She charged at me, her scythe wielding, her eyes gleaming, and what looked like canine

teeth faintly visible from her lips. Wow —she was even scarier than Yamazaki Tsutomu, the

serial killer in "Eight Tombs Village."

I turned without hesitation. Even though she was younger than me, I couldn't escape

unscathed against someone like her. I didn't want to spend my precious summer vacation in

the hospital.

Escape inside? I didn't know what lay deep inside, but it was better than here. At least

there wouldn't be a girl with a scythe.

The hallway was long, and fortunately or unfortunately, I didn't encounter any staff. It

looked like I could escape.

My thoughts were naive. Someone was approaching from the front. Just as I thought

about that, I saw their hand suddenly glow.

A white bullet of light flew towards me, and, as Kämpfer's habit, I reflexively launched a

fireball from my hand.

Fire and light collided between the two of us, dispersing. I knew who my opponent was.

As the smoke cleared, she smiled. It was a woman in a swimsuit.

    "Hitomi Minagawa..."

My voice seemed to come from deep in my throat.

"I'm so honored you still remember me."

"Well, why does it sound a little frivolous?"

    "Thank you for the compliment."

"What do you want from me... That's nonsense."

"Yes, I told you last time, we're here to pick you up."

    I fell silent.

That's exactly what she said during the fight at the Italian restaurant. These guys seem to

have a problem with me. They were male before their transformation, and female after —this

one, though baffling to me, seemed like a key.

"...You said you were here to pick me up, but some of you were brandishing scythes, too."

"You'll only listen if we use a little force, right?"

That wasn't quite true, but it was also true that we were forced into a conversation.

"Is this the reason you came to the theme park?"

"You said you wanted to play here, so we thought this was a good opportunity."

"Why don't you keep playing? I'll do the same."

"Of course I will, but pretending to deal with college students is a bit troublesome."

Her hands were slightly glowing, and she was going to attack if anything happened. She

was trying to persuade and threaten at the same time, what a terrifying woman.

Is there any place to escape? There's an inspection elevator right above my head. I could

open it and run in, but it's difficult. I can't reach it with my arms outstretched, and even if I

wanted to jump, I couldn't do anything. Hitomi's light bullets a re faster. Maybe a sickle will fly

from behind.

But this terrain should give me an advantage over Hitomi. The opponent also has magic, a

flying tool. If I dodge, I will hit Rika behind me. She must be stupid enough not to think of

that.

"...What good would it do for me to go over there?"

"I remember telling you, Sakura Kaede is here."

    "He's... huh?"

"To be more precise, he'll be here soon."

"That means he's not your ally yet. It'd be pointless if Sakura Kaede wasn't here."

"That person has a connection to the mediator, so no matter how long it takes, he'll come

to our side."

    "Mediator... what?"

"I'll tell you the rest after you become our ally."

I thought for a moment, then moistened my lips with my tongue.

"...What? That wouldn't be very beneficial to me, would it?"

    "Indeed. But..."

    My eyes were fierce.

"But we're not stupid enough to give up on you."

Hitomi waved her hand, and a beam of light flew towards me. I wanted to fight her, but

she was faster.

    "Wow!"

Light exploded before my eyes, and I closed my eyes in utter blindness. There was no

impact, only sound and light, but my eyelids stung, and tears welled up.

    "Rika, catch him."

    "Alright~"

I heard footsteps behind me. It was over, and I couldn't open my eyes. I'd assumed she'd

avoid any drastic action to avoid a fight, but I hadn't expected this.

Damn it, tears welled up in my eyes, and I was about to be caught.

    "You idiot, stop staring!"

A roar echoed, and the elevator door slammed open, as if someone had jumped down

from above.

"Useless partner, show me some use for a bit."

The rude tone was unmistakably Akane.

As usual, she was holding what looked like a Colt pistol. While it was a powerful weapon, it

was handled by someone who was not a good user. It felt like a blade, and now the muzzle

was pointed at my head.

"Huh? I heard you guys talking up there, you're going to join them? It seems you're

seriously dying!"

My vision finally began to return, and all I could hear was this guy pointing the gun at me

again. Of course, I could still hear, so I could hear all her scolding.

"Idiot, stop it! I don't remember agreeing to be their companion."

"No, that look in your eyes says I desperately want to join them. You traitor, I'll put a hole

in your head and hang you up."

"Come on, don't mess around! Do you hate me that much?"

    "I'm just pissed!"

Ugh, my finger was on the trigger. I'm going to die.

Akane moved the muzzle of the gun and fired twice behind me. There were two clangs as

the sickle fell to the ground.

    Rika pulled it back.

"Don't interrupt them while they're arguing."

"Hmph, ignoring Rika is unforgivable. Rika is here to tame a ferocious dog."

Akane's eyes widened, her anger fully revealed.

"Hey, Natsuru, let's talk about putting a hole in your head and hanging you up like a wind

chime later. You deal with that bitch first."

    "Who's that?"

"Of course it's the bitch who uses magic! Can't you see through that? I'll take out that loli -

sized bitch."

How can I see through them? They're both bitches.

But it was two against two, so it was much easier. I confronted Hitomi Minagawa.

    Hitomi looked a little disappointed.

"Aren't you ashamed to ask a girl for help?"

    "Now I'm a girl too."

"Let me ask you again, do you have any intention to join us?"

    "No."

    I answered immediately.

"Try and say yes. The fierce dog behind me will bite my throat or pierce my body. I take

good care of my body."

"It's really not like Kämpfer, but..."

    Hitomi's hands glowed again.

"We also have reasons not to give up."

Light bullets flew towards me, which was within my expectations, so I countered them

with my own magic.

Behind me, Akane and Rika were fighting. "Die, die!" It was Akane who was yelling. Rika

seemed to be saying something too, but I couldn't hear Akane's shouting.

Hitomi didn't approach, keeping a distance and firing light bullets.

    "How about this!?"

Suddenly, the light bullets increased to three. Unconvinced, I also released three fireballs,

knocking them down simultaneously.

    "What... wow!?"

Hitomi appeared before me, rushing towards me, using the previous attack as a

distraction. Though she had nothing in her hands, she grabbed me.

    "Eh...!?"

    "Oh my god!"

I turned around and saw I'd been thrown. Did this girl even know martial arts?

I landed on my back, hitting my waist.

"Idiot, what the hell are you doing!"

Akane yelled, clearly directed at me, and fired at Hitomi.

    Hitomi retreated.

"You loser! I'd better finish you off!"

    "Stop!"

I rolled, hurling fireballs at the incoming sickle. This is your job, Akane, right? You're getting

the wrong idea.

Pointing back at Hitomi, I said,

    "Akane, fight that one!"

"What!? Are you a lolicon? You pervert, never talk to me again."

    "I'd love to, too!"

I fired two or three fireballs. Rika used her chains to block, so the fireball attacks had little

effect. But the enemy was the same, feeling a bit stuck.

I turned to check behind me. Akane was firing furiously, making it difficult for Hitomi to

strike easily.

    Suddenly, Hitomi turned back.

    "Rika,"

    Hitomi shrieked.

    "Hold this here!"

Hitomi suddenly bolted. With my back to her, I couldn't see, but I heard Akane yell,

"Ooooh!"

Then the sickle appeared before my eyes. I was concentrating on shooting it down, so I

couldn't quite make out what was happening behind me.

She was actually kicking the walls of the passage, flying through the air. What's that called,

a triangle jump?

Then they leaped over us and landed on Rika's side. Immediately after landing, they

unleashed a light bullet, which bounced off the ground and flashed.

    "Rika, let's go."

"Hey —are you not going to fight anymore?"

    "Time to retreat."

Without saying anything to us, the two turned and left.

I lay on the ground, watching them go, Akane still holding the gun.

    "...Damn it!"

It hurt. This guy actually stepped on me in anger. Hey, hey, get your foot off me.

"You're trying to trick us, slipping away so quickly. You almost killed us all."

    "Really?"

"Yeah! Hey, a mere Natsuru thinks you're going to defy me!?"

What an unreasonable excuse! Am I your servant?

The two figures disappeared, and I was still lying on the ground, so I stood up.

"But why did they run away?"

"Huh? You have eyeballs? Are those two glass balls? You can't watch anime on the satellite

channel if you do that."

We don't have satellite channels at home.

    "That guy is the reason."

    Akane raised her chin.

I didn't realize Shizuku was standing there. Hitomi was on the other side. Did she feel

disadvantaged because of this?

Shizuku still held her weapon in both hands —the locked dagger.

    "A close call?"

"No, I'm adding to the chaos,"

Akane said. Don't you have the concept of companions?

    "I'm so sorry."

"If you hadn't come, I could have killed them all."

"We'll talk about this later. Let's get out of here. After all, this place is off -limits."

As expected, we followed Shizuku out of the backstage.

The sun was still high in the sky, and there were new tourists. There seemed to be more

people than before.

    I asked Shizuku quietly.

"President, weren't you being chased by enemies too?"

    "Yes, it was Sayaka Nakao."

"What happened? Did they kill him?"

This guy's words made sense. She might be even more ruthless than Akane.

    "I didn't do anything."

    "Just fought?"

"Didn't I say I didn't do anything? I just ran away. We retreated."

"Even if we fought, it wouldn't be a problem."

"That depends on the situation. Fighting in a place like this would cause trouble for the

others and the theme park, so I figured I'd escape."

Oh my, she was so thoughtful. I even ran backstage.

    "What's Sayaka Nakao doing?"

"Who knows, maybe she's still looking for me."

Perhaps because they were running around, they were quite far from where they were.

    "How's Sakura Kaede?"

"I asked Kondou Mikoto to take care of her. It seems like she forced her, but she's so

sociable, so she should be fine."

After all, Mikoto is the type who can get along with anyone.

    "By the way, Mishima -san?"

    "Huh?"

Akane glared at Shizuku. Her mouth looked so lonely, maybe because she didn't have

Pocky.

"Change back, Kaede doesn't know about this."

"Why should I listen to your instructions on such matters?"

No matter what, biting the other party first is this guy's default setting.

"Less trouble is better than more trouble."

"Then figure it out on your own."

"Don't be so angry all the time...oh."

Shizuku's expression suddenly turned a bit strange.

"Does it mean you want to spend more time with Natsuru -san?"

    "What..."

"Your figure has improved since the transformation."

That's true. The swimsuit is still the same, but this and that have gotten bigger, making it

sexier. The pink color is also quite nice. But is it for me to see?

Akane's head felt like steam was coming out.

"What's going on, President? Are you provoking me?"

"Oh, so this is provoking me. You're really good at it."

    "You, you idiot...!"

Akane's hand appeared with a pistol. Wow —idiot, what if someone sees us?

"Do you want me to cut a hole in your forehead and let you open a third eye?"

"Do you want your throat slit?"

Shizuku's dagger was ready to be thrust forward. At this distance, it was easy to aim, and it

might even be faster than a pistol.

"What do you want to do here? I don't care."

    "I do care. Change back."

    "So what if you don't?"

"Then I'll force you to change back."

For example, if I make her unconscious, she can return to her pre -transformation state. I've

been attacked by a Seppuku Tiger before. Taking such action here requires considerable

courage, but Shizuku says it's possible.

"I'd rather you use your own consciousness to transform back; that's easier."

    "...Huh."

Akane's pistol vanished, looking unconvinced but understanding.

"Not just the gun, but also your usual Mishima -san."

"Tsk, after all this talk, President, don't you also want to show this blockhead what you

look like in your swimsuit?"

Shizuku responded straightforwardly to Akane's provocative line.

"You guessed it right, that's it."

    "...Huh?"

I asked, stunned for a moment, but the president hurried away.

Honestly, the octopus balls and fried noodles for lunch (I ended up having both) weren't

very flavorful. I know you can't expect good food in a place like this, but eating out here is a

plus, and the aftertaste of the battle takes a bit away.

After quietly asking Kondou Mikoto, "Didn't you fight?"

    she replied, "No."

"Why? White Kämpfer would have hit you too, right?"

"The president took everyone away, so I had no choice but to keep chatting with Sakura

Kaede,"

Kondou Mikoto said. As expected of the president, she could only say this.

"It tastes so good when we all eat together,"

Sakura Kaede said. I put my previous thoughts aside and replied,

    "Hmm... delicious."

"I went to a long, long place to buy Natsuru -san's octopus dumplings. I heard they're

better there."

    "...Thank you."

Sorry to have bothered you. I couldn't tell what was so delicious about it, but that's just

proof of my dull taste.

It doesn't matter. It's all the same once it's in my stomach. Anyway, let's eat it. We don't

know what's going to happen next, so I need to replenish my energy first.

At that moment, my chopsticks stopped. What could happen? Hmm... am I unconsciously

thinking the chaos will continue? Isn't this just like Shizuku?

That's Shizuku, expressionlessly eating fried noodles. There's a lot of red ginger, isn't it

spicy?

"Natsuru -san, let's go swimming after we finish eating,"

Sakura Kaede said, and I nodded.

    "Sure..."

"I was only halfway through teaching you, please continue."

I don't mind, or rather, I'd love to, but I think it would be better if Sakura Kaede were to

swim alone.

Kondou Mikoto and Akane don't seem to be getting along. Akane has shrunk again since

she untransformed, and it feels like she'll sink into the ground if I ignore her.

"Let's go somewhere else this time...?"

"That's right, if possible, let's find a place just the two of us..."

Ah, Kondou Mikoto glared, and Akane sank. Why is this happening?

I was about to decide whether to refuse when I heard a familiar, idiotic voice from the

other direction.

"Oh my! Isn't that Natsuru -san?"

With a terrible premonition, I turned back fearfully. It was him.

"What a coincidence that we met in a place like this,"

that idiot Higashida laughed. Wow —what are you doing here?

    "W-why..."

    "We're having a camp here."

Looking closely, I saw a group of members of the Bishoujo Research Society behind me.

Hey, hey, hey, aren't you guys going to a camp at the beach?

"Isn't... isn't it at the beach..."

"Huh? How did you know that, Natsuru -san?"

Higashida said in disbelief. Oh no, he'd let it slip.

"Uh... that... that guy, Natsuru -san, said..."

    "Ah—that guy's such a big mouth."

    Higashida crossed his arms.

"Even though he said it, he never showed up. I can't do anything about him."

    Did I say that?

"I remember... it seemed like... that... we needed to rent a cheap place..."

"Yeah, but the girl's club, the class president of Class 4, Grade 2, sold us tickets here. It's

better than going far away."

    "Is it expensive..."

"A little bit, but it's worth it."

The class president would do anything for money. Anyway, how many tickets does she

have? Does her family own a gold ticket shop?

"We're staying the night, so we plan to have fun."

    "Really..."

Ugh—this is terrible. We also stayed overnight, so don’t imitate us in this way.

"By the way, Natsuru, when you see that guy, help me talk to him. Tell him to do his job as

a special advisor."

    "..."

How should I respond at this point?

Higashida then greeted Shizuku and Sakura Kaede with a "Hello, hello." Sakura Kaede

responded politely, but Shizuku gave a cold "Okay."

This idiot is trying so hard to get into our circle. I understand his feelings, but it's really

bothering us that you're here. The guys from the Bishoujo Research Society are staying away.

Being shy is really like them, isn't it?

    "Then let's go,"

    Shizuku stood up.

    "Hey, are we leaving now?"

Sakura Kaede asked. She had been planning to go swimming.

"Let's go back to the hotel first. We just got here."

    "Even so..."

    Shizuku didn't allow for argument.

"Let's swim for a while. See you at school, Higashida -san,"

she urged everyone. "See you at school" meant "I won't play with you here." How cruel.

Higashida seemed incredibly grateful that Shizuku remembered his name, and had no

intention of following. Then again, this guy is also a M, so he must have been incredibly

happy just now.

"Are we really going back to the room?"

    I whispered to Shizuku.

    "Yeah."

"It's okay to swim for a while, right? Just ignore them."

"It would be troublesome if the White Kämpfer called again. Just keeping Kaede from

finding out would be a huge hassle, and managing so many boys wouldn't be possible."

    That was true.

I'd thought ignoring them would be problematic, but the members of the Bishoujo

Research Society were crouching down, lost in thought, and didn't follow. Higashida, on the

other hand, was overwhelmed with happiness. It looked like there would be no pro blems for

a while. And it was such a shame that none of them had cameras with them, given such a

good opportunity.

We walked into the women's locker room.

    "...Ah..."

    "What's wrong?"

    "I, need to change..."

"Of course, you can't walk around the hotel in a swimsuit."

    "But, clothes..."

There were men's clothes, meaning clothes for men like me. It's not that women can't

wear it, but Sakura Kaede has seen it. So, if a woman like me and a man were to wear the

same clothes, even the most squeamish person would find it strange.

    "Ah, that's true,"

    Shizuku whispered.

    "Right? Is there any way?"

    "No."

    "Hey, don't be so adamant."

"If you're talking so loudly, Kaede will notice. How about you just play dumb?"

    "Hey, I'm asking you seriously."

"Just play dumb. Kaede didn't really notice what the man, Natsuru -san, was wearing. Just

be honest."

    "Really?"

"If she asks you anything, just say you didn't notice or something. She'll be fine."

I half -believed and half -doubted, I walked into the changing room.

How does ev eryone else put it on? My

hands almost cramped.

I changed in a place where no one was around (because I was embarrassed), and then

everything happened just as Shizuku said. Sakura Kaede said, "It's a simple, cool outfit," and

that was all she said.
