Mahou Sensou is a Japenese light novel series written by Lia Luna and illustrated by Hisashi Suzuki.

Story Synopsis

Takeshi Nanase a ordinary high school boy with a somewhat dark past lives a normal life, though in a "fake" relationship with his childhood friend Isoshima until he met a girl named Mui Aiba, a magician. After that his worldview changes, since there are now two worlds - the normal world and the magic world.
