Talk:Mushoku Tensei:Web Chapter 68
Metastasis is used throughout the chapter to describe the teleportation. But, in nowadays English it is rarely used to describe teleportation and currently describes: "Metastasis, or metastatic disease, is the spread of a cancer from one organ to another." (wikipedia) Not only wikipedia, but other dictionary's answers tend to relate to transferring of cancer. Although they include "change of position, state, or form" too, I actually had to look up metastasis to find out its meaning.
Is it possible to switch with a less ambiguous, more commonly used word? One with more universal terminology such as:
- teleportation
- transport
- transportation
- space-time alteration
- space-time leaps
- etc.
