"Eh" "Ah" "Ughh" The mourn-like faint cries bombarded me with unwanted imaginations, and brought me the illusion as if I could somehow see through the door. Okay, probably the time had come for me to really go nuts as well.
I think you mean to say moan-like. It's still awkward though. How about moaning-like?
