Discussion for the japanese translation[edit]
We have decided to use the chinese version as template and fill in the missing parts from the original japanese version. It's not perfectly authentic like a from the ground up translated japanese version. For previous discussions refer to the chinese translated section on the project main page.--Ushwood 02:31, 7 September 2011 (CDT)
Differences from the chinese-translated version:
- ship name changed from "Kaisofu" to "Kaisof";
- "pickled crane juice" changed to "crane egg soup";
- "tangerine flavored roast pork" changed to just "roasted pork";
- the text correction (missing line added): from
- “Then just what type of attitude should I show towards my captain?”
to
- “Then What kind of manner does the Captain want from me?” Duhir snapped back. “Do I behave as deputy communication officer or should I act as a member of the Imperial family”?
- the text correction: from
- “However, it is said that the intelligence of the navigation crew determined the engine crew’s positions!”
- “I have never heard of this saying in my clan.” Said Duhir.
- “I think you may not be especially concerned with the relations?” Berusot said firmly.
- “Even if that is so, you cannot bring that into what we are discussing now.” Vonyu said.
- “I am not a person to allow business to turn my backs on family tradition!”
- “Although saying that is very impolite, but I thought that as captain chances for me to display my family tradition should be miniscule.”
- “If this is truly the captain’s family tradition, then it would be too much for anyone to respect it.” Vonyu said in a tone full of misgiving.
to
- “However, it is said, that intelligence determines whether a person belongs to the navigation crew or engine crew.”
- “I have never heard of this saying in my family.” Said Duhir.
- “Perhaps, you didn't take note of it.” Berusot asserted.
- “Even so, the circumstances here are different.” Vonyu said.
- “As if I would neglect family tradition because of circumstances.”
- “With all due respect, Captain, in your position the opportunity to show your family tradition should be rare.” Vonyu said coldly.
- “So what? Just because there is no opportunity, decay is not a tradition in our family tradition.”
- “If this is truly the captain’s house's family tradition, it would be so- splendid.” Vonyu said in a tone full of misgiving.
- the text correction (missing line added): from
- “No, actually you were not rude at all just now.” Berusot said with a malicious laugh.
to
- “No, actually you were not rude at all just now.” Berusot said with a malicious laugh. “Naturally, this is to be expected from an ambitious Line Wing Officer.”
- the text correction (missing lines added): from
- The spatial sensors’ image and Kaisofu’s image overlaps completely, Duhir is only pretending to control the ship.
- As if responding to Duhir’s control, the Kaisofu begins to fire short bursts of thrusters. After that, this Line-of-Battle ship enters into customary navigation.

- The spatial sensors’ image and Kaisof’s image overlaps completely, Duhir is only pretending to control the ship.
- Duhir's left hand which was inserted into the control glove moved unconsciously.
- Of course, his control glove did not work now. It was only a formality.
- As if responding to Duhir’s control, the Kaisof begins to fire short bursts of thrusters. After that, this Line-of-Battle ship enters into customary navigation.--Ushwood 02:48, 7 September 2011 (CDT)
