Intro[edit]

The stars had already completely disappeared.

Far in the east the sky lightened, and the formerly darkened trees started to regain their color.

He didn't have any time left.

On this ground, a boy and a strange creature confronted each other.

On the one side a giant snake monster, its body completely made of blades.

On the other a boy, drenched in his own blood.

But the one close to death was the monster.

The boy took a step.

One of the half dead monster's blades pierced his chest.

Its final resistance.

Next to the beast, now moving no more, the boy fought against the pain with ragged breathing.

The fight couldn't even be called a fight. He just did this in her place, in order to satisfy himself.

But it was not the time to rest.

He slipped into the jacket he had hidden in the ground and grabbed the shovel which was hidden in the same place.

The well-known grip made him regain courage, like the cheering of a trusty comrade.

He ran while leaving behind red footprints on the ground.

His legs felt heavy, as if something was pulling them down. He steadily grew more irritated by his own slowness.

Finally reaching the grave, he thrust the shovel into the ground right away.

After just a few jabs he tossed his tool aside, fell to his knees and started burrowing into the earth with his bare hands, like a mole.

His fingers found dark brown hair, appearing from under the soil.

Looking out from below the hair was a sleeping face, almost looking dead, if not for the traces of a few tears on the cheek.

He understood. After all, he had done such a gruesome thing to her.

And now he would do something even worse.

The boy prayed simplemindedly.

Please, may she forgive me.
