After reading this Sword Art Online Gaiden,my first response was "That was quite...unexpected turn of events" and quite heartwarming.For Asada Shino-<Sinon>,perhaps it's understandable considering her blunt and straight-forward way of thinking,but not for Asuna Yuuki-<Asuna>,Alice;the Integrity Knight-<Alice Synthesis Fifty>,Kirigaya Suguha-<Lyfa>,Shinozaki Rika-<Lizbet>,Ayano Keiko-<Sclilica>,or Yui(order from the most expected to the least expected) to agree to this kind of proposal;or if I may quote;a tenchi solution as tvtropes state it.
For Asuna,I can't state the reason behind as if I just know,considering her character.For Alice,I can only speculate,as I only read the prologue 1 of [Sword Art Online:Volume 9 Prologue I[Sword Art Online|Alizication Arc beginning]].Fourthly,about Suguha/Lyfa,I can guess that both she and Kirito are mutually understand about what each other feels.And maybe she plan to confess again clearly to him on not so distance time.Next,for Lizbet,it's pretty obvious from the Second Chapter of the Second Volume.Only I didn't think about her voicing about it.Then about Scilica,for her to go out and agree to fight for her unrequited love,it's remarkable.Last but not least is Yui.Can't think how she agrees,perhaps she already accepted them;as if I remebered from the Third Volume,especially her reaction on the Fourth Chapter.
- Thinking about Fairy Dance makes me mad somehow,remembering how Oberon treat and plan to do with Asuna.*No more excess negative emotion flow,or you'll revert back to your old self.*
For Kirigaya Kazuto-<Kirito>,probably being the gentleman he is,is why he didn't run away.Although before the card is turned,in his foreboding before,he did want to run out of the window.
Well,a man can wish.What comes next and what to do with that is some of things that matter.(That makes me want to tease nearby couples.^^.Seeing a happy couple is heartwarming.)
p.s.:It's according to my interpretation of the series.Sorry to let my emotion ran a little loose.
