History

I recently found Baka-Tsuki because I was searching for series' that are still not adapted into anime, well some were already adapted into anime but I figured that the story was lacking, and I am intrigued by what I found. . Light Novels.

Activities

I am currently reading a few Light Novels that I think should be worthy of attention.

I am currently in the process of learning Japanese and I plan on helping out by translating, if I my output gives back good feedback, even though it might still be poorly done, I'll be doing more of the translation.

Translation Process

Hello, If you ever wonder how I do my thing regarding the translations, it is like EnigmaticAxiom's translation. I am using the ABBY FineReader 11 Professional Edition software that converts Image files into text/PDF files. Also, Enigma's works are awesome, read his translations. :D We are two different people so our works are different. My pace is just kissing the ground as I am new. :D

1st Process

- I first convert the Raw Image file into Text file using ABBY FineReader.

- Then correct all the Kanji's since ABBY sometimes fail at recognizing Kanji.

- Using the DLed files from the net, I look up the Kanji's that I do not recognize. *Yeah, right through all 2000+ Kanji. Good thing that the series is not too heavy with JP terms.

2nd Process

- I then translate each sentence into English with the aid of Translation Engines. Though I keep it as close to the author's intended meaning.

- If sentence conversion does not work out, I use lines.

- If it does not work again, symbol by symbol.

3rd Process

- I then review my whole output, preferably page by page first.

- If I can't spot the mistake right away, block by block.

- If I still fail to spot mistakes, line by line.

- If I still fail to spot mistakes, Find/Replace method in MWord is used.

4th Process

- I then do some minor editing to my work. Focusing on the terms using the terms page of the respective project. Using Find/Replace

- If I feel satisfied already, I just dump then in.

- Enjoy the series.
