I will be using my Talk page for my own translations. I am going to start with stories or works from kids books, and translate them, posting them here on my talk page. So, look forward to short, interesting kids books, as well as a way for you to chronicle my progress as a translator, as I begin mastering more difficult words, etc. Anyway, without further adieu:

The first book I want to translate is called チロヌップのきつね or "Chironeppu no Kitsune." which means pretty much "The Fox of Chironeppu." It is a story which takes place on an island in a northern ocean. People begin coming to the island, and the book details the relationships, good and bad, between the people and the foxes.
