I'm not sure if "water candy" is a correct translation. Mizuame (where mizu means "water" and ame "sweett/candy") is a kind of strach syrup, denser and more viscous than usual used in japanese confectioney and cuisine similar to honey, and it's also traditionally served at festival stalls attached to a couple ofchopsticks. Since it's more viscous than regular syrup, it remains attached and can be eaten as is, but it can also be turned into sweeter hard candy by kneading it with the chopstics, obtaining a big lollypop.--Kemm (talk)
