"Of course, it wasn’t that Father did not contribute anything, day and night, he was extremely busy in continually supporting— Not just being the head of Kurahashi family, also as an important [Star Reading Technique User] that the financial sector heavily relies on, and to develop and educate the next generation by giving her all as Head of Onmyou Academy, a wife that had exceptional performance in all aspects."

Sorry, I'm not too clear what this sentence is trying to say. The subject appears to switch halfway through from "Father" to "Kurahashi Miyo/Mother," as it goes from "he was extremely busy in continually supporting" to "the head of Kurahashi family... giving her all... a wife."

"Of course, it wasn’t that Father did not contribute anything. Day and night, he was extremely busy continually supporting Mother — not just the head of Kurahashi family, but also as an important [Star Reading Technique User] that the financial sector heavily relied on, and committed to developing and educating the next generation by giving her all as Head of Onmyou Academy, a wife that had exceptional performance in all aspects."

Would that be an acceptable understanding of the sentence?

Yes. That would be acceptable. I had read this portion in the light novel a few times and I was very confused as to the subject changed halfway as well. It would be great if you could just directly edit this on to the page. Thank you!
