Have you ever heard of the "Seven Deadly Sins"?

In the Christian world, which is the constant enemy of my cult, the “Void Sect”, it is said that these are the seven elements that lead mankind to sin. They consist of arrogance, jealousy, rage, sloth, greed, and lust, they are used in various fantasy worlds and works.

We VTubers are often drawn in fan art based on this theme, and Kenmochi Toya is often drawn as the sin of "Arrogance"….

I sometimes receive the following question on "Sharpness Radio," a radio-style program that I conduct on an irregular basis.

“Hello, Kenmochi-san! Even if I have something to do, such as homework or studying for a test, I end up procrastinating! Please kill me for being so lazy!"

I see, this is certainly a troubling problem.

I'm sure many people have problems similar to this.

And this is what I think every time I receive a letter like that.

"Are you right in the head?"

Why are you asking a man like me who hasn't released a voice for 4 years advice on how to not be lazy? ! ! !

That's so arrogant! ! ! Just so you know I'm the laziest person in the world! ! ! !

If anyone thinks they're lazier than me, I want them to come forward. Well, there will probably be a lot of people, so I won't do anything about it because it's a pain in the ass.

Yes, Kenmochi Toya is lazy.

I'm also a few months late in submitting this part of the novel! ! Gahaha! ! !

For now, I'm not writing this to get the person in charge to leave.

I have come to cast a stone in this world where laziness and running away are considered bad.

This time I will talk about how much I have improved my life by escaping through laziness.

While we are not doing what needs to be done, we are not actually doing anything.

When we are running away from something else, we are definitely moving in the direction we are running away from.

There is something called the cocktail party effect. Even when you are in a noisy class or dozing off, you can easily hear someone calling your name. This is how your brain unconsciously selects the information you need. Fugitives (or nigenchu, meaning lazy people) in order to escape prison, use the cocktail party effect as a function to select "all information other than what he or she needs to do in order to escape unconsciously.

I’m pretty sure even lazy readers have probably had the experience of not paying much attention to the content of the story while speed reading.

I would like to draw your attention to the potential of human information-gathering at this very moment.

The usage of the internet is seen differently when we look for information about something interesting, we look for this information because we are willing to do whatever it takes to escape reality.

It is during this time when humans have the widest range of information-gathering abilities. This miraculous time given ability is only given to lazy people that diligent and hard-working people are not even allowed to feel. I have acquired a vast amount of knowledge, and that knowledge has helped me to become a VTuber making me now to write this essay.

Information is power in this modern world.

The headwind from what we had to do becomes a tailwind during our escape, giving us a boost.

The interesting thing about acquiring information while on the internet is that you can acquire knowledge that you would never have been interested in even if you’re a normal functioning member of society. Even knowledge that would normally be unimportant to us is made all the more fascinating when the engine of escapism is added to the mix.

It is similar to tasting a local delicacy that shines brightly in a world that is not part of your everyday routine.

Just as I would happily eat goya chanpuru, which I usually don't eat, on a trip to Okinawa, and then I would look up stuff related to card magic, which usually doesn't interest me at all. Because of my laziness, I am called knowledgeable, and I use that knowledge to chat with others, which has been successful in getting me to where I am today.

In other words, it is not too much to say that the denial of laziness is the same thing as a denial of myself.

Well, I've written a lot so far, but it's time to summarize all that I’ve wrote so far.

In other words, what I want to say is,

I apologize for the delay in submitting the essay!

Please forgive me for being lazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAaaaAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's all. Thank you very much.

*Excessive laziness cannot be tolerated unless it is accompanied by charm and ability, please do it in moderation.
