Bonus Story 2: Kindly Watched Over by a Powerful Meathead of a Big Sister[edit]

Saezuri Ferslona, the 17-year-old knight leader with short black hair, targeted humans.

The Undine Knights could be seen as a large-scale retaliation force used to eliminate enemy commanders and traitors who threatened the kingdom. Thus, the miniskirt knight had no interest in monsters. She always fought the villains who fell into the human category.

“Honestly, how can that foolish sister of mine insist she’s too much of a shut-in to leave the house and then head out to buy snacks with such a bright smile on her face? Yes, this just won’t do, I must give this rear end such a spanking it turns bright red.”

“Eeeeek! G-Gi-Gilbezooooos!!”

In the capital, a 10-year-old shut-in sister managed to scramble over a fence holding her butt with both hands to escape her 17-year-old knight leader sister, leaving Gilbezos all alone on the front line. Well, he did have Lady Seliphenia with him.

Saezuri, the intellectual older sister with a huge sword on her back, didn’t seem to mind much.

“Fine, that was a distraction anyway and running away only earns her more spankings later on. So, Gilbezos, are you willing to take a combat guild job to help us out?”

“You mean help the Undine Knights?”

“For ordinary patrols and clearing rubble, we prioritize hiring the unemployed to help fight poverty, but this one is a little more difficult. So I was hoping for some help from someone with combat experience.”

Saezuri targeted humans.

That meant a dangerous criminal was hiding somewhere in the peaceful capital.

“What exactly would I be doing?”

“The overall job is raiding an illegal weapons manufacturing base, but the actual fighting will be my job. I wanted you to provide support from the rear.”

…Huh? Then what about the 10-year-old’s Necessities Emporium that sold weapons, armor, gear, medicine, food, and more?

“Shops are free to create and sell weapons as long as they submit the appropriate paperwork to the government. I am talking about illegal manufacturing. The official paperwork can act as a handy defense when weird rumors start to spread, but I have my doubts my sister is doing that part right. But as long as she’s getting help from some other adult, she should be fine.”

“(I bet that’s why this poor chestless sister is always so on edge when she sees Shirayuri,)” the goddess whispered in his ear.

Not that it matters, but her breath tickled.

The illegal weapons manufacturing base in question was located in a historical theatre.

“Despite its history and fame, it doesn’t appear to be doing well as a business. They must be trying every trick in the book to make ends meet. Which calls for some punishment.”

“You don’t hesitate at all when it’s other humans, do you?”

It turned out the “support” he was supposed to provide was to unlock the theatre’s backdoor without anyone inside noticing and to soundproof the scene so onlookers wouldn’t hear the commotion, gather around, and get hit by a stray shot. Both were easily accomplished by manipulating the Skill Tree (while making sure the meathead didn’t notice).

“Can’t the knights do this?”

“Yes, but for some reason the others always complain of headaches, stomachaches, and face-shaped growths whenever I am heading out to attack a villain. I may be cursed.”

…Gilbezos could just imagine the cries of everyone who had fought alongside that ultimate physical attacker and been caught by friendly fire.

Regardless, the battle against humans had begun.

Needless to say, the people being punished went all out when they fought back. Specifically, a man with a staff stepped forward. He appeared to be a magic combat specialist.

“Get the evidence out of here!! Gya ha ha! You elite royal knights can’t do shit! We’ll always slip away as long as you can’t find any solid evi-meryo…”

Eh?

Huh?

…The large man standing in their way had suddenly disappeared? No, Saezuri had wordlessly swung her huge sword down at him and – if you can believe it – embedded him in the floor?

“That’s terrifying! Ahhhh, how could you do that to a living human with what’s basically a giant hunk of steel!?”

“He may be a fellow human, but he is disturbing the kingdom’s peace. He deserves no mercy.”

Saezuri herself remained composed.

They quietly entered through the back door. Something seemed off when she drew the huge sword from her back while walking down the narrow passageway. Was she planning to smash right through the wood and stone wall to attack the enemy!?

She was a knight leader through and through. She wielded her full strength and she didn’t bat an eye when her powerful physical attacks caused her miniskirt to rise enough to see her underwear.

“Gilbezos, if that plain blue lace is good enough for you, I could give you one hell of a show back in your inn room☆”

“Can you please not insert any unnecessary sex appeal into this scene? I’m afraid I could start associating that with all this gore.”

“What do you mean ‘unnecessary’? You have a goddess here ripe for the taking!”

It wasn’t over yet.

Saezuri rotated her wrists to hold the enormous sword in front of her like a shield.

Was that a sharp arrow that struck the flat of the blade and bounced away?

Oh, Saezuri can actually use the defensive skills of a front-line knight.

Without even thinking, the meathead sister kicked up a staff from the floor and launched it with a two-handed horizontal swing of her sword, defeating a distant enemy. Only then did she turn her focus in that direction.

The enemy she had shattered in the distance turned out to be an animate white skeleton.

This came as a shock to Saezuri.

“What? Skeletons can only perform simple actions…yet it used a bow!? B-but even I struggle with specialized projectile weapons!”

This was a common reaction to the undead. Learning your own skills were inferior could really hurt. Gilbezos, for example, thought it was wrong for ghosts to ride horses.

“Does that skeleton count as a human or a monster? I’m only supposed to target humans, but the undead don’t fit into the usual categories. I’m already feeling dizzy… Oh, I know! I don’t have to worry about any of that if I destroy everything living or dead.”

“Now who’s disturbing the peace? You’re causing more chaos than anyone!!”
