"It might bring misfortunate to my city sometime, but this is different"

"It might bring misfortune to my city" sounds better.

I do not have novel, so I am not certain if "...to my city sometime" should be "...to my city at some time" as in a point in the future. Or if "...to my city sometime" should be "...to my city sometimes".
