Baka-Tsuki is run by readers, for the readers! While we do not have any way to collect any financial donation, nor does thelastguardian seek or ask for any.

There is one donation if you truly wish to contribute to Baka-Tsuki, something that is far more valuable then any currency you can offer.

All we ask of you, is to be able to donate a small measure of your Time while I don't mean this literally! (Although If you can, we would be more then happy to accept it, just as long as it can be transferable over short text messaging services or bluetooth.)

If you can donate just 30 minutes of your valuable time, to help edit, proofread and perhaps translate for us, then that would be more then anything we could ask for! :)

Thank you for contributing and I hope you enjoy your reading!

Thank you all very much. -Matt (7/09/07 3:00AM)

I sincerely ask you to accept my gratefulness towards you for translating the "Haruhi Suzumiya" novels into English. Tanigawa Nagaru is a great author and I am certain that these books belong to the category of being one of the finest works of science-fiction that I have ever read. Really looking forward to the next novel; the last one built up quite a tension. Watching the anime was great but reading is just as good even if not better. It's hard to say where I would be without your work. If there was only a way to thank you apart from writing here. And to thank Nagaru.

Thank You So Much

I really want to Thank you guys for the Clannad Game Translation Project. Without you guys, It'd take me a couple more years of learning Japanese and leaving my Clannad Game all boxed up in my closet collecting more dust. I'll try and help you guys edit since I'm not good enough for translating yet. Thanks a bunch guys! I really hope this thank you page grows bigger!

I only wish i could donate some of my time but have no idea how to edit translate or proofreed but if theres anything an average schmoo just tell me and ill get right on it.

A HUGE thank-you

I would like to say thank you to everyone at Baka-Tsuki. Now that I've started translating myself I can truly be thankfull to you for all the hard work you did (I've never imagined it would be this hard). I would also like to humbly apologise for all the times I've been impatient and thought of you badly (even though you guys didn't know about it).

Thanks for "Spice and Wolf"!

My thanks for picking up the "Spice and Wolf" project :). I think those novels really deserve to be translated and presented to a wider public, so far you guys are the first ones to bother with that. This may sound a bit biased, but I'm especially impressed with the quality (and the pace) of work done by the one going by "Judgment26" - your effort is much appreciated, please keep up the good work!

Great job with Marimite novels

Thanks for great translation of Marimite novels, very well done. I really enjoy them. I am looking forward to another chapters. English language isn't my native language, so I am trying help and correct at least obvious typos (there is small amount of them) ^^.

Thank you for Lots of Stuff

for working on Clannad, Haruhi, Toradora, and picking up Tomoyo after. I appreciate it. I am still working on my Japanese for the time being...but hopefully very soon I can assist the internet community in translating. I will also try to find the time to do some editing. Well keep up the good work everyone!

'Tsuki, You've changed my life for the better

Thats the truth. To be honest, I have shunned literature for the past three years. I turned to manga, video games, and other forms of visual instant gratification. Naturally, I soon after became infatuated with anime, which eventually lead to the discovery of this site. Although moving media contains some of the most incredible artwork known to man, I soon found overindulgence unsatisfying. I needed something to feed my imagination, and for some reason the images began to taste like a poor meat substitute. I desired mental exercise: to render the hazy images that linger for but a moment in the turbulence of the minds eye. Your hard work, this site, was my deliverance. It brought me to appreciate the art of literature once again. I found myself stuck on the site reading for days, and this past week I have felt happier than I have in years. If not obligated, I am impelled to thank you for this experience. I hope this great site continues to grow. Thanks again, for making life a bit more bearable.
