"Her tears were different than the ones from all the times she ran out of the clubroom after Yozora talked her down."
To talk someone down has two meanings:
- 1. To persuade someone not to kill him/herself
- 2. To prevent someone from speaking by talking over him/her
The second one might be the intended meaning in this sentence, but I think it's probably more like "after Yozora teased her". There is also the phrase "to talk down to someone" which means to belittle or talk condescendingly to someone that might be the intended meaning. I'm not sure what the actual line means, so I don't know how to clarify this line. I'm hoping someone can read the original and give a different interpretation. --Dan. 01:55, 10 May 2012 (CDT)
