Just out of curiosity, but do you want us to wait until you finish translating the entire chapter before we get to proof reading it? BladeUnderHeart 18:20, 31 December 2011 (CST)

Feel free to proof-read anything I've already posted. I tend to work one sentence, one paragraph, one page at a time, and have felt it more important to plow through to the end rather than spend even more time reviewing what I've already done . . . unless I notice something really obviously wrong. --Rpapo 18:26, 31 December 2011 (CST)
Wow. I am embarassed by quite a few of those typos you've found 8-/ --Rpapo 18:01, 3 January 2012 (CST)
Comes from my having the Microsoft Word spell-checker disabled on my working document, since it chokes with the mix of Japanese and English in there. --Rpapo 18:02, 3 January 2012 (CST)
OK. I've gone and checked all your corrections, corrected some of the corrections, and synchronized my working document with what is on the wiki. I am going to guess, based on what I saw in the way of changes, that you were basically editing English, and didn't have the Japanese handy. Most were changes to fix mistakes I made. For instance, the bit about "a row of five women with lip piercings" was originally, in my working copy "a woman with five lip piercings". A lot of my mistakes come from the evolving nature of the translation. If I spent more time reading what I wind up with, it would come out cleaner. Mae culpa... --Rpapo 06:45, 4 January 2012 (CST)

Yup, just editing English here...which is why I try not to change anything major. Well, I feel better about it if you're going over my edits. And, since I'm here...thanks for the translation. It's an interesting story. 13:13, 4 January 2012 (CST)

Well, as I've said before elsewhere, the whole thing has been an exercise in forcing myself up a level in Japanese, at least in reading and understanding it in text form. I don't expect to be satisfied until I can read Japanese casually, without having to have a dictionary at my side all the time. If something I am doing for my own learning happens to benefit others, all the better. --Rpapo 13:36, 4 January 2012 (CST)

Read the end of chapter 5 and that last page seems a bit confusing since it seems so disconnected from the previous page and the 3rd person point of view of Banri (looking at himself?) further complicates things --Lighthalzen 07:48, 28 January 2012 (CST)

If you reread carefully the first paragraph in chapter 1, you'll notice that all the narration in this volume is from Banri-ghost's POV. Banri-ghost is somewhat like a consciousness of Banri before the trauma that caused amnesia. --TheQwertiest 07:57, 28 January 2012 (CST)=)
Disjoint: I agree that the story is jumping around here, but the author chose to do that. In a sense, she has summarized the state of affairs at the end of book 1: Banri is staring at Linda, wondering why she never mentioned they had been a couple before. Kouko is staring at Banri. Mitsuo is staring at Kouko, but hiding the fact. Chinami is staring at Mitsuo, but because she noticed him looking towards Kouko she is undecided as to whether she should say something. Mr. Two Dimensions completes the set, but he's in off his own little world (more on that in the spinoff story coming next). And watching over them all, Banri's Ghost, who's simply taking it easy, watching it all play out. --Rpapo 10:48, 28 January 2012 (CST)
Third Person: That's Banri's Ghost, of course. Please refer to the page the public Wiki Police removed, but our friend and ally Pmt7ar restored at Golden Time. --Rpapo 10:48, 28 January 2012 (CST)
