Lol man i forgot it was april fools. Thought the writing style was a little different but wrote it off as him not writing a while. Yah u got me good ^^

Hey guys, I think Vol. 8 is already out long before. . but it was not posted here. . I once found it on google and downloaded it. . it was on my USB though (it's stolen now, lucky prick.) and I think the volume was Legitimate as it contained more revelations about Chifuyu and Tabane's relationship with each other. . so, for me, this chapter is legit and it's not some 1/4/13 joke. .

In any case, this is my understanding of Vol 8. The rumours were about Vol 8 being finished and rejected by the publisher. I have no idea how true the rumour is, nor do I know if there was a leaked copy somewhere (I doubt it). The 25 April date however, was corroborated by this link, http://www.scifijapan.com/articles/2013/01/03/infinite-stratos-reboot-kicks-off-with-all-night-festival/ , which seems legit. So, chances are what you read was fan fiction, since by most accounts, it never got printed.

Also, the text screams satire to me, hence my conclusion, (Well-Played) April Fool's Joke :D - Anon A

Best April fool's joke I ever fell for. Wouldn't have known it was a fake if the page wasn't deleted. Hats off to you Teh_Ping-san. I'm a bit disapointed though. I wrote this to thank all the editors who had help correct my crappy english to what it is now. really shocked at the changes and how much better it had become. Again, thanks!

I would also like to say that it will take some time for the next update with my exams in 2 weeks(honestly thought that i still had 1 month, not 2 weeks!) and me entering study mode in an effort to improve my currently atrocious grades. sorry and that's all. --- Sana 14 may 2013

Just making sure this change is okay

Did some simple edits - but since I am new to this and do not want to break the rules, I did have one change that may qualify as a major edit. So, I'll put it up here instead of going ahead and committing it.

However, the suit is being considered to branch out in usage.” -to- “Extended Operation Seeker. Known as EOS, it is mainly designed for disaster relief and peace keeping operations. However, branching out the suit's usage is under consideration”

I guess nothing is grammatically wrong with it... but the original phasing is just very awkward.

Yup, seems like new phrasing is better so its fine. -- Sana
