In the sentence below, would "but such a her appeared" be better as "but she presently appeared" or "but her present form appeared"?

• Horo’s true form was a wolf that could easily swallow Lawrence whole, but such a her appeared full of worry, revealing an unnatural smile as she inquired thus of Lawrence.
