Hi there

Thank you for your contributions to Baka-Tsuki, and welcome!

Just a friendly reminder, as I look over some of your edits, that some of these changes might need to be discussed and compared to the original text. Simple grammar and spelling fixes are hardly a problem, but when you start restructuring the sentences and changing words you introduce subtle changes in meaning. These kinds of edits should really be discussed first, since our goal is to stay as true to the original as possible.

Specifically, I'd like to know what you use as a basis for some of these changes.

Thanks in advance; Smidge204 03:03, 20 June 2008 (PDT)

I've got five original Japanese editions of the series as well as its Korean ones, and most of my corrections are based on them. While enjoying your project's translation, I found there were quite a few omitted, distorted, or exaggerated contents compared to the original works. That's why I wanted to work on some modifications―By the way, where can I discuss the matter? Riproskaie

We can discuss changes on the Baka-Tsuki forum. A good portion of the text was translated from the Chinese versions, so it's certain there are some differences from the original Japanese... my only concern is that any corrections make the text more accurate to the original, instead of less. :) Smidge204 04:39, 21 June 2008 (PDT)
