umm..firstly i want to thank for volume 8 kamimemo.. that's an amazing update O.O

^^ fufufu...but honestly i'm a bit confused about sou-san underlings, because i usually know them as 'rock' and 'pole' and i don't know japanese..

secondly, i just want to make sure..is that 110.000+ is just first chapter? :O that must be though.. >.</ thanks again..

Hello! Just dropping by to thank you for your updates on kamimemo 8. I haven't actually read v8, since I'm not really good at Japanese, so it's tiring for me to read like that, not to mention I might lose some details =/ (and I don't even dare to imagine myself translating from Japanese anytime soon). I never imagined that anyone would translate v8, so you might imagine what a pleasant surprise it was when I saw your update. Thank you for finishing volume 8 of Kami Memo! Will you be continuing to translate more Kami Memo volumes? Or move on to a different series? It would be great if you could continue to translate Kami Memo, because it is one of the 'better' light novels which doesn't involve pointless story line full of harem and idiotic romance. Cheers

Anons: I'm glad you all enjoyed the translation! Yes, I'll continue translating kamimemo, and my next project will probably be volume 7. The reason why I decided to skip directly to volume 8 was because it's one of my favorites. You don't really need to read 5, 6 or 7 before reading 8, either (5 is a compilation of short stories, two of which have been adapted in the anime, 6 is Min-san and Hiro's arc, 7 is Major's arc). --Abril 23:58, 10 May 2012 (CDT)

Well, hopefully I will start working on v7 or one of the stories from v5 by next week. I think the other volumes will be translated too, eventually, but I can't really say when. I'm glad you like this series, btw! To it's credit, I feel that it's a great slice of life novel that is less ..."provocative" than others.
