Hey there, thanks for the congrats. Unfortunately, I'll be on hiatus as I do not have much free time nowadays. In the meanwhile though, I would like to edit volume 5 if you don't mind. -Natriumsodide (talk) 17:30, 3 August 2018 (CEST)

Sure, go ahead. --Fuyuhotaru (talk) 22:39, 3 August 2018 (CEST)

Congrats on finishing volume 6!

I still don't have much free time so I haven't worked on anything so far. You can feel free to work on either the main series or bug, or perhaps even both, haha.

Yup, saw the new series but haven't read it either. I did read Tokyo Inroaded though, a shame it was cancelled even though it ended with an open ending. Did you know there's a new Mushi Uta short story in "The Sneaker Legend" magazine? It occurs a year after the end of the series. I hope to get it soon and read it. -Natriumsodide (talk) 13:55, 6 November 2018 (CET)

Hey, good work!

You can go ahead with either. As for me, I'm still making some edits for volume 5 at a snail's pace. I think I'll make some speedy edits for Bug 3rd first though.

I've only read the new short story so far. Tbh, I was quite unsatisfied. The story was pretty depressing and did not show much of the original characters. However, it's Mushi Uta after all, I guess it should've been expected. Haven't read the new series, but I hope it sold okay. Iwai sensei is masterful writer though his stories usually takes some time to develop. Hope he'll be able to see this story to the end he envisioned. -Natriumsodide (talk)

Hey, great job on another volume!

As for me, I'll be on indefinite haitus since life's a b*tch. I'll still try to edit when I'm free, but probably won't be returning to translating any time soon.

Indeed, it's a pity about Rioland. Still looking forward to the next series and hoping for the best though. -Natriumsodide (talk)

Hey, fantastic work on another volume! I really liked these few volumes which were filled with despair and I can't believe everyone can also enjoy the suffering now! Well done! And stay safe from the virus~ -Natriumsodide (talk)

At the risk of sounding repetitive, congrats on yet another volume done, we are now at beyond the halfway mark! Great way of representing the katakana twist, I was totally bamboozled the first time I read the volume. Hope all the readers will be hit by it similarly! Wishing you continued good health. -Natriumsodide (talk)

Hey there, another year another volume of Mushi Uta. Congratz again! I have nothing more to say but that it's awesome how you keep continuing to translate this series. Stay safe and keep up the good work! -Natriumsodide (talk)

Congratz on another volume done. We're approaching the end now. And finally, someone on the cover page who didn't die haha. It's been so long and the exception to the norm. Stay well and good luck. -Natriumsodide (talk)

Wow, that was rather quick this time. As always, congratz on another volume. I've run out of things to say so keep up the good work. When you get closer to the end of the series, I was thinking of reworking the first three volumes so that they'll all be here. I'll check with the translator at C.E. Light Novel Translation if I can use their work as a base, if not I can do it from scratch. As always, stay safe amd have a good one. -Natriumsodide (talk)

Damn, another one down already. Congratz and good job. I have actually gotten permission from the previous translator of volumes 0-3 already, but my laziness have caused me to lag at v1c1 for quite a while. This release definitely motivates to go back and work on it. Hopefully the next release will be the re-edited volume 1. Wish me luck and all the best to you as always. -Natriumsodide (talk)

Hey, it's been a while. Congratz on finishing Mushi Uta Bug! I've got some bad news though. I haven't been able to find time to do the edits for v1-3 and it seems unlikely to change, so I'm going to have to give up on this project. I'm sorry I can't contribute to Mushi Uta anymore but I'm sure it'll be fine with you around. I can almost see the end now so best of luck! -Natriumsodide (talk)

About the terminology and format[edit]

Hey there, so there's something I've been thinking for a while, but have not acted on it till now.

I was thinking of creating a name/terminology/format page for Mushi Uta and standardizing it across all the currently translated volumes.

Also, there are some terms I've found that differed across the volumes. I'm hoping we can use the page as a place to discuss how to translate certain terms so as to keep it standard across the series. What do you think? -Natriumsodide (talk)

So, I'll create the name and terminology page at the series page soon and raise some issue at its discussion page where we can discuss. -Natriumsodide (talk)

Hi, I've just created the name and terminology guidelines page at the Mushi Uta main page. You can take a look and add on or change terms as you see fit. I have also added some topics for dicussion at the talk page. Do let me know what you think. -Natriumsodide (talk)

Hey, so I've also replied to some of the queries on the page. Once we have summarized the changes to be made this round, I'll implement those changes to the volumes soon. Btw, do you want me to add in the names of the characters which have yet to appear to the page as well?

Could be useful for future reference, if it's not too much work. --Fuyuhotaru (talk) 13:39, 9 November 2019 (CET)
