===01. Underground Labyrinth===

Yuuri (monologue): I had a sad dream. Who was that? A young woman broke  into tears kneeling on the ground.  She seemed to be holding a baby close to her chest with its upper body curled up. Her sadness seemed to reach all the way to my heart. It was a heart-breaking dream. But in the state that I am now, I can't afford to cry over her misfortune. I can't cry, because my body is lacking water. Even opening my eyelids was hard.

Yuuri: Mh...

Saralegui: Ah, thank goodness! You've woken up, ne?

Yuuri: Sara. *stands up* How long was I asleep?

Saralegui: It wasn't that long. Ah! Yuuri! Don't rub your eyes so hard!

Yuuri: Ah, that's right. I... my eyes ...

Saralegui: You can't see, Yuuri? Really?

Yuuri: I practically can't see anything at all.

Saralegui: You poor thing, Yuuri! I've heard that when something terrible happens and the shock is great, your body can start working abnormally.

Yuuri: Uhm... in other words you mean, STRESS? I wonder if STRESS is the reason why I can't see .

Saralegui: It's just that you are unharmed, you don't have any wounds. I'm right, aren't I? Nonetheless, that man died.

Yuuri: Gh...

Saralegui: But you are alive. 

Yuuri: That's right. I'm alive, even though Josak died. Crap! *walks away*
 
Saralegui: Yuuri? Wait, Yuuri! Where are you going?! It's dangerous...

Yuuri: Ugh... *falls down*

Saralegui: Don't overdo it. I mean, you're tired. 

Yuuri: I had a dream.

Saralegui: Huh?

Yuuri: A woman was crying. She was holding a baby and she was praying to god as she cried. "Please save my son" she said. The child must have surely been sick.

Saralegui: Hmm....

Yuuri: And even though I was watching this, I didn't do anything. It was a cruel dream. But...

Saralegui: But...?

Yuuri: But reality is cruel too, right? I'm sorry for that woman, but for me, it would be better if what happened "there" was real and what happened "here" was a dream<ref>Watch out for the uses of "here" and "there".</ref>.

Saralegui: Why?

Yuuri: It's just that... in that case, the one dying would be that woman's son and not my friend. And even if that god wouldn't grant her wish, the one dying would be that baby and not "him". I can't believe I'm thinking something so cruel. I am... disgusting.

Saralegui: That's not true, Yuuri.

Yuuri: It is! My emotions<ref>The word for emotions or feelings also means senses, as in the 5 senses.</ref> have rotten.... I can't...!

Saralegui: Shhh.... be quiet. 

Yuuri: ...Sara....

Saralegui: There's something coming.

Yuuri: What do you mean by "something"?

Saralegui: It's moving... I think it's a living creature.

Yuuri: A living creature? I can't feel such a presence at all. Eh? Is that not an earthquake? 

Saralegui: A bird or a bat maybe? Get down!

FX: *Yuuri gets away*

Saralegui: Yuuri!

Yuuri: I'm not ducking! If you're going to come, then come!  I can't avoid you anyways! I don't know whether it's a bird or a bat, but I'm not ducking! Dammit!
