The fated day has passed, and SAO has been removed from the site. It really makes me feel for the translators that have had years of their work erased; but I would like to say that I am very grateful for your time and intention. This site and the stories posted on it; nobody gains anything from it, or hardly any recognition; the translators on baka-tsuki do what they do because they want to do it, and no other reason. I've loved reading SAO since I discovered this site; and I can definitely say that this place is where I got my appreciation for Japanese media in general. I just want to let you know that I appreciate all the effort that has been put into this series, and the translators that strived to do it.

It is only about a month since I start reading SAO LN. To be honest, I'm reading it, only because I couldn't wait any longer for the anime. In only days, I fell in love with it, I keep demanding more and more, eventually reading the side story, interview, and the main arcs up to UW.
About a month ago, vol 7 onwards were still online, I never really questioned why. I was to busy to know more about SAO. I remembered when I read about Yuuki's efforts. She put a lot of efforts only to reach her dreams, she stayed strong till the end, only to prove that she exist. She tried her best to live, and in the end, she really lived. A few days later, I went back to read vol 5 and 6, I remembered that I almost cried, on how Shino and Kirito fight, to live their life to the fullest, to leave their past behind. From them, I learn to forgive myself...
As time moves on, more and more heart warming stories, fun moments were told. However, I never realize, that the end were this close...
One day, when I came back here, April 4th, everything was already gone... I panicked and desperately search for an answer, only to know that the fan-translations of SAO, have basically meets its end...
This novel has taught me a lot, to never give up, to forgive myself, and to keep walking on, striving for your dreams. Responsibility will wait for you in the end, and new challenges are everywhere. "Nothing can be shouldered alone", that's true, I guess. Everytime, everyday, we always do things with helps from the others, from simple things to complicated one.
But at the end of the day, I realize that between me and the writer (Kawahara Reki-san) and also the illustrator (Abec-san), there are always people who worked through their busy days to bring these novels to us. They are the translators and baka-tsuki. At the end, I can't give anything in return, but I just want to say, thank you for everything. Thank you very much to bring SAO to all of us here. We're all in your debt, and we hope all the best for you guys.
One day, let's meet again somewhere on the net...
