For the first thing, please change it if you think so. I was really unsure and stuck with that section with the food, and I honestly think your interpretation makes more sense, so go ahead

Second part is just a mistype on my part, please feel free to change it. (Sadly, I'm told that I type too fast sometimes.)

Third part, I think either one makes sense, but yours sounds better as a sentence, so please change it if you want.

Last part, I think the original is better. (The more formal phrasing of "would you not" just seems more grammatically correct and sounds better in this context.

Thank you for your appreciation. As for when Vol 5 will be completed, that's still a bit hard to gauge. Right now, 50 percent of the entire volume has been completed, but the way I translate is slow compared to others. I'm trying to finish it within two weeks at the very latest and am aiming to finish it by next week, but it all depends on how much free time I have. By the way, don't worry in finishing the translation fast, because I really enjoy the quality and fluency of your translations (some translations have sentences whose phrasing I can't even understand), and I prefer to wait a month for just a chapter with the quality of your translations than have a whole volume translated in just 2-3 days with a lukewarm-quality translation (I'm not criticizing Code-Zero, because i really like his translations too). I haven't thought of it, but that might be a good idea about adding yourself to the chapter translation credit since you are going to change the meaning a lot. Normally changing meaning of a translation require some explanation, and this will probably stop anyone from wondering what you were doing. Everything in Accel World should be 3rd person in Haruyuki's Point of View. When "I" is used, those are direct thoughts that I usually just put in single quotes, which Zero2001 will later change to italics if he want. All I can say for advice is try to use the same [[Accel_World:Names_and_Terminology_Guideline|terms]] if we can. We can also talk about the ones that need changing. As for those ' use by the author, they are emphasis, which I used to put in italics. But since Zero2001 changed Haruyuki's thought speeches to italics, I now use '''bold''' for those words. Do you know how many places 心意 is used? Sticking Incarnate in those places will make those sentences a total mess. Re-read Sky Raker's explanation before the Incarnate System spelling is used. No worries, my translation is far from perfect. Personally, I prefer minimal edits, and as you're not an editor in the project, I'd hope you wouldn't make much major edits. If you want to, you could add a note beside the sentence for a better version, which will be reviewed, either by the editor or the translator. Once again, thank you for helping with the project. To be honest, I'm quite loyal to my own translations, so if it's really a big change or one that will alter the meaning, I'll be doing edit reverts and the like. I'm not that sensitive to grammar, especially with tenses, so grammar corrections are more than pleasing. Most spelling mistakes derive from my typing or laggy computer though. - Pudding321

I just noticed the 'feint' thing, so I guess I should make a remark on that too. The passage vaguely puts something like Taichi depended on his 'will and spirit' to achieve it; however, it is clearly said before that Taichi forced his will and spirit out. It is totally unconvincing as why the writer would tell the readers all Taichi did before in volume 1 (the first arc) was all fake, but that's how Taichi thinks of it. His spirit and determination was not what he really thinks, it's just what he tried to pretend in front of those girls to make himself and of course those girls feel better. Now that they are having another problem, Taichi knew well that he needed to do something else to solve the problem. That's why in the sentence Taichi have to think up of a more creative way. - Pudding321

As a matter of fact, I'm a bit skeptical of my own usage of words too, as you can see I'm trying to experiment with new words and expressions to hone my craft and skills in writing. Oh. I've messed them up too many times already I've lost count. I'm still confused with those Japanese names. Basically, Nagase is used in description and Iori in dialogue. The same goes for Kiriyama and Yui, but Yui is only referred in dialogue sometimes by the girls. Inaba is always Inaba, save Inaban which is only referred by Nagase. I'm going with 'Surname - Name'. That is, Inaba Himeko, Yaegashi Taichi, Kiriyama Yui, Nagase Iori, and Aoki Yoshifumi. There may be exceptions, but that's basically it. - Pudding321

- I'd also like to add that character names　(especially for Nagase/Iori and Kiriyama/Yui) in narrative is dependant on whose perspective it is. Since you guys are talking about early chapters of Kizu Random here, most of the narratives are done through Taichi's perspective, but some parts of the later chapters have snips of Inaba's point of view narratives. If you can't think of anything to reply in the main LN forums, you can make some replies in non-LN sections of the forums as well, like manga or anime discussion, or misc discussions.
