Wait, I still dont get why they say Medusa + Athena are the same person when in actual Mythology, wasn't Athena the one who *cursed* Medusa in the first place? (And then send Perseus with her shield or something to kill Medusa) ._. | |||

No, he's saying that the Greek legends of Athena, Medusa, Perseus, Metes, etc are all derivative of older mythologies going all the way back to the earth-snake-life-death goddesses. |

Athena + Medusa[edit]
Wait, I still dont get why they say Medusa + Athena are the same person when in actual Mythology, wasn't Athena the one who *cursed* Medusa in the first place? (And then send Perseus with her shield or something to kill Medusa) ._. or is the author just using creative license here :d?
