'a poor young girl': the lace rules out 'binbou', and the circumstances rule out 'kawaisou'. If 'karen', perhaps 'touchingly lovely' or similar? Separately, extreme joy at this chapter (and by extension the rest of the volume) now being readable! -Multipartite (talk) 13:56, 16 November 2013 (CST)
