高須 竜児: This is how the kanji goes. Takasu is the first word, for his last name. His first name has the symbol for dragon, which is written as "Ryuu." Ryuu with two "u's" as that is the word for Dragon. Ryu isn't dragon. Followed by "ji." So personally, I'm all for putting it down as "Takasu Ryuuji" full name. Because the name loses it's meaning if you take out one of the U's.

Good job Akira, as always. I'd like to ask something though. Is it possible to keep such a sentence structure?

I'm fine with you editing for active/passive, but if you would, is there anyway you can give me an example so I know what you are talking about exactly?? Thanks :)

This sounds like stating a fact. Besides, I'm inclined to think that the author wanted to stress the first clause, ''how'' it happened, which explains why the qualifying part is placed before the verb.
Haha, fanboys :). No biggie. Also, didn't mean to make it seem like you didn't understand the honorifics, sorry...:(...Anyway, as far as Ojou-sama is concerned...idk know...I guess we can leave it alone for now, but it's also true that sometimes it does sound kinda wierd :)

I'd like to retain the original sentence structure, if that's okay with you. =) As for the past edits, don't bother about them. Your edit is not wrong, after all.

Ahhh~ I totally forgot to respond to your comment...O_o. As for novels that have furigana, ALL of the books by Aoitori Bunko, (that have the blue/white border), have furigana over all the kanji. I have 2 books from them, one I kind of liked was "7th Period UFO Research." the books are aimed at children though, but they are still really good I think...hang on a bit more and I'll look up some more. http://shop.kodansha.jp/bc/aoitori/index_main.html

Good job Akira, as always. I'd like to ask something though. Is it possible to keep such a sentence structure?

Eg:

  • With a seemingly anxious face, Mazarin asked.
  • With ladylike fastidiousness, Henrietta muttered.

I am not sure how to put this, but this structure makes the sentence feel...more storylike? Cuz if you look at the alternative,

  • Mazarin asked with a seemingly anxious face.

This sounds like stating a fact. Besides, I'm inclined to think that the author wanted to stress the first clause, how it happened, which explains why the qualifying part is placed before the verb.

inactivity[edit]

Good day,

We are doing some spring cleaning in our right groups (translator, editor, etc.), and people who have been inactive for more than a year are being removed. This unfortunatly appears to be your case.
