Lie:verse Liars (リーバース・ライアーズ Riibaasu Raizu) is a Japanese web novel written by Ootorino Kazuma (鳳乃一真). Lie:verse Liars is a mixed media project by KADOKAWA Co. Ltd. and BALCOLONY Co. Ltd featuring characters based on "Livers" belonging to the Virtual YouTuber agency Nijisanji.
Synopsis
Lie:verse Liars
A local city called Morihama.
The disappearance of young men and women were ridiculed as a "spirited away" incident on social media.
The threat of a "false world" that is growing unnoticed on the "other side" of the city.
The Countermeasure Organization for False Worlds, "Caliburn" was formed to counter the end of the world that no one can recognize.
Only they, the "Awakened," are able to cross over into the false world and fight.
The ordinary lives of these young people living in a typical city end when they become awakened.
Webnovel
A strange rumor called "Spirited Away" is being spread in Morihama City.
Kigisu Yuragi is a shy girl who was once called a genius. One day, she finds "a strange gap in space that no one else can see" in the city. Bewildered and intrigued by the phenomena that cannot exist in reality, Kigisu Yuragi meets Ruu, a young man who, like herself, can perceive this mysterious phenomenon.
