I don't need "that."
I don't need something that warms my very core.
In order to become a 'box', I sank to the bottom of the sea where I numbed my body so that I would no longer feel the bitter cold. If I were to taste the warmth once more, all my efforts to remain numb would be for naught.
Therefore, anyone who tries to give "that" back to me is my enemy.
