It does - I was assuming that based on the slightly earlier versions: -"A man trapped by boredom can use the 'box' merely to stave off boredom." -"A guy trapped by boredom can use the 'box' for nothing but to stave off boredom." ...that the intended interpretation was "at a bare minimum, it'll still help"

OTOH, Given the old TL/edit, the less likely (but still plausible) interp was your most recent "at best" version - i.e. somethnig like "all a box can do for a man trapped by boredom, is just the bare minimum." The meaning is "the maximum that a man trapped by boredom can achieve with a box is...", or in other words, a box is useless to such a person, save for the purpose of killing time. EusthEnoptEron (talk) 16:44, 5 April 2013 (CDT)

Ah, ok - much becomes clear. Sorry about that. Then, yeah, my most recent edit is wrong. Your prev version is fine. I'd maybe suggest one mild mod to the older version to avoid ambiguity: _Even_ if a man trapped by boredom were to use a 'box', he could at best kill some time. But why would you put "anyway" there? The purpose of the death match is to kill time, thus meaningless, so it should be in line with the preceding sentence. EusthEnoptEron (talk) 17:23, 5 April 2013 (CDT)
