Formatting Rules
Update:
We have changed the primary narration tense to present tense. For a more detailed (though still incomplete) explanation, see the baka-tsuki forum thread, post #164 (page 11).
Currently, the following rules apply:
- Narration and thoughts are written in present tense.
 - …Except for obvious exceptions such as flashbacks and the like. Let your common sense be your guide.
 - There is no longer any need to distinguish Direct thoughts from regular narration. If you don't know what Direct thoughts are, don't worry about it.
 
Punctuation & Style Rules (WIP)
- Em-dashes (—) without spaces should be used for separating thoughts and marking unfinished thoughts.
 - Instances for which no rules have been defined are to be dealt with appropriately by using normal quotes, italics or no special treatment at all.
 - Box names are capitalized, but are no longer to be placed in quotes.
