Volumen 07 Capítulo 65 - La Carta de Recomendación

1ª Parte

Ha pasado ya 1 semana desde que me enteré de que habían descubierto dónde se encontraba Zenith, y todavía me alojaba en una posada del Ducado de Basherant.

Me encantaría ir para el continente Begarito cuanto antes, pero el invierno está al caer, por lo que decidí permanecer en este país un poco más.

En la zona norte del continente central los inviernos son bastante duros, nieva a diario y se puede amontonar hasta 5 metros dependiendo de la región. Por lo general es tan acusado en las carreteras principales, pero cuando te desvías de ellas lo más mínimo...

Podría ir hasta allí usando magia para detener las nevadas y derretir la nieve del camino mientras avanzo, pero no puedo recorrer ese camino en un solo día con magia, así que tendría que acampar y dormir a la intemperie, y es más que probable que me acabara pasando algo.

Pero lo importante, es que Zenith está viva, y saben el Laberinto en el que se encuentra. Es más que probable que surjan o haya problemas, pero Paul y Roxy iban de camino hacia allí; además que Elinalise me aseguró que no había motivo para apresurarse, y que es mejor esperar a que pase el invierno para reducir riesgos.

Y con la intención de ir para allá en cuanto pudiera, continué mi régimen diario de entrenamientos.


Me levanto por la mañana temprano para ir a correr y empezar mi ruta.

Si algo he aprendido es que mi cuerpo se mueve con esta soltura debido a que he mantenido mi buen estado físico todos estos años, y un cuerpo sano conlleva una mente sana.

Esta tarde, cambiaré la rutina, y no iré al gremio de aventureros, ya que esta semana es fiesta en la ciudad; por lo que seguiré mi entrenamiento hasta el medio día y me acercaré al mercado. Si se acerca el invierno, necesitaré ropa apropiada

Con varias cosas en la cabeza sobre mi organización del día, me pongo a correr comenzando de una vez mi entrenamiento. Noto como mi cuerpo no está muy por la labor, principalmente porque en mi cabeza no puedo quitarme la idea de que hoy es fiesta.

Seguí corriendo hasta llegar a la cima de la muralla de la ciudad, subiendo por una cuesta que habían organizado para ello.


"¡¿Waaa?! ¡Eh, Quagmire, hoy no deberías salir! ¿Por qué no te tomas un descanso?"

"No puedo saltarme mi entrenamiento diario."

"Vaya, así que eres de los que se esfuerzan, ¿eh? Ah, se me olvidaba, ¿nos podrías echar una mano para reparar la muralla un día de estos? ¡Si lo haces te regalaré arroz!"

"¡Si me dejas sobarle las tetas a tu hija, te arreglaría hasta tu casa entera!"

Tras el saludo con el soldado que hacía guardia en lo alto de la muralla, di un salto desde la muralla para llegar a las afueras de la ciudad y me puse a dar mi vuelta diaria rodeando la ciudad. A diferencia de en la ciudad, el camino ha amontonado bastante nieve y tengo que ir derritiéndola con magia de Fuego si quiero avanzar.

Cuando volví a la ciudad, comencé mi entrenamiento de golpes al aire con una espada; como Paul y Ghyslaine me enseñaron como hacer un entrenamiento contra una imagen mental, me imaginé que la persona contra la que peleaba era Ruijerd. Me he propuesto no usar uno de mis pies y una de mis manos contra él, para entrenar con más ganas.

Y finalmente, seguí el camino por el que vine en dirección a mi posada; cuando estaba llegando, me encontré a Elinalise apoyada en el marco de la ventana del segundo piso.


"Ah....Pero si es, Lud-ey, hmm, usss, has vuelto."


Al verme me saluda directamente, pero la noto extraña; no está realmente apoyada en la ventana sino que está fuertemente apoyada en el borde y puedo ver como su cara se contrae mientras su cabeza se mueve a un ritmo constante. Puedo decir que intentaba controlar su voz, pero sus Hmmm, nnh empezaban a alzarse y además podía ver sin dificultad sus hombros desnudos.

No hay duda la he pillado in fraganti...


"Sí, ya terminé por hoy, pero veo que tú te has levantado Llena de Energía."

"¿Eh? ¿Energía? ¡¿A qué te refiera-ahhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHhh-s?!"


No me cabe duda de que oculto tras la ventana, se encuentra un hombre que está dándole mimos a Elinalise... Y eso que hace frío fuera, veo que eso no la detiene en las artes amatorias avanzadas de juegos en la ventana. No puedo negar que es alguien Llena de Energía.

Aparto la vista finalmente de ella dirigiéndome hacia mi habitación de la posada.

En esta semana que llevo conviviendo con ella en la ciudad, he comprendido y hasta aceptado es el equivalente a la peor de las perras en celo permanente. Su propia existencia debería ser categorizada como ofensa moral de origen sexual.

Aunque realmente no me importaría que me pillaran cometiendo esa clase de crimen; pero si soy sincero, hay algo que aun no os he contado, y es que llevo 2 años sufriendo una enfermedad que ataca mi Corazón (Moral) y mi Cuerpo; aunque es complicado hablar de ello en detalle, así que usaré un ejemplo con plantas para intentar explicarme.

Si una planta tuviera ante ellas montañas fértiles o un frondoso valle, florecería y crecería fuerte en dirección al cielo, inflándose en un gran tronco imposible de derribar ni por viento ni marea. Y ese tronco podrá más tarde regar la tierra con su semilla. Pues ahora mismo, mi planta ni crece ni florece. En definitiva, D.E.[1], y no tiene nada que ver con que descanse en paz ni nada parecido, quiero pensar que volverá a resurgir de sus cenizas[2].

Pues sí, desde que experimenté el abandono de Eris, minimí no ha vuelto a alzarse; y puedo asegurar que he hecho todo lo posible por superar este problema. Llegué incluso a dirigirme a este misterioso y casi religioso sitio conocido como Distrito Rojo[3]; y eso que en mi anterior vida jamás hubiera ido a un sitio como ese.

Pero volviendo al tema, el resultado de las pruebas fue un fracaso sin precedentes, y llegué hasta pensar que de verdad mi pequeña planta estaba D.E.P.

Al tiempo, cuando estaba comenzando a extender mi nombre de aventurero, conseguí cortejar a una señorita aventurera, y aun con mi cara claramente dejando ver mis intenciones, conseguí convencerla de que me acompañara a mi habitación. Lo hice con la intención de ver si se ponía en pie ante chicas no-profesionales. Pero no hubo ningún cambio, y cuando todo terminó, se desentendió de mí increíblemente enfadada.

Así que me di por vencido. Porque aunque me excite al ver a una mujer desnuda, no parece que mi espina dorsal le mande la señal correcta a mi entrepierna, y pasado un tiempo, un sentimiento de incapacidaz y lástima por mí mismo acabó empañando mi día a día, llevando a que mi corazoncito acabara hecho añicos.

Llegado a este punto, siento que nadie más será capaz de hacer volver a minimí a su forma original; porque nadie más puede llenar este corazoncito mío después de semejante traición. Solo deseo una persona a la que ver, oír, tocar para conseguir amar.

¿Pequeño, no nos hemos llevado de fábula desde el principio? Lo habíamos pasado en grande, y quiero repetir, no busco reemplazarte ni nada, es más, me encataría jugar a solas contigo, no necesito a nadie más (tampoco me gusta demasiado la compañía)... así que venga, al menos... volvamos a los viejos tiempos, tú y yo, nadie más. ¡Ya ni puedo llorar porque no me hagas caso!


"Ahh..."


Regresé a mi posada y calenté la habitación con magia, para luego calentar agua y limpiar el sudor. Cuando terminé de cambiarme, salí de mi habitación buscando algo para comer.

Y justo entonces,me crucé con Elinalise y su compañero, el que hasta este momento debería haber estado ayudándola con sus ejercicios enérgicos.

Al fijarme, la persona que iba con ella, pasándole un brazo por encima del hombro era Soldat, que como aventurero que es, seguramente empezara a recibir las tareas del gremio Elinalise hace poco.

Este intrépido aventurero, al verme la cara, se quedó completamente pálido.

Lo que me extraña es que todos y cada uno de ellos se disculpó conmigo al mismo tiempo que hablaban maravillas de ella... ni que tuvieran que pedirme perdón a mí. Lo que me pregunto es.... ¿sabrán entre ellos lo que ha estado pasando? Temo que acaben escenificando alguna masacre, aunque en realidad, ni me preocupa; yo no tengo nada que ver, y es demasiado coñazo participar en escenas tan incómodas como esas.

En estos últimos 2 años, he hecho cuanto he podido para evitar acabar involucrado en situaciones tan peliagudas cmo esa. Quería que se extendiera la idea de que Quagmire no guarda rencor a nadie, ni se mete en peleas; así que lo único que haré en esta situación es ofrecer mi consejo.


"Elinalise-san."

"¿Qué pasa, Ludeus?"

"No pasa nada si haces lo que quieras de puertas para adentro, pero asegúrate de hacer control de daños, ¿de acuerdo?"
