On her way to the Rose Mansion, Rosa Chinensis, Fukuzawa Yumi, spots a figure crouching in the shrubbery. It's Yumi's homeroom teacher, Katori Maki-sensei. Yumi invites her teacher, who seems to be worried about something, to the Rose Mansion and treats her to a cup of herb tea, which has become all the rage among the Rose families. Using Yumi's tea party with her teacher as an impetus, this is a collection of seven stories about Lillian's students as well as the headlining "Farewell Bouquet."
