His sleep had been disturbed by the sound of Yasuko collapsing in the entrance hall after she had returned home. Even though it was finally summer break, he had unfortunately gotten up extremely early. Anyway, once he had taken Yasuko to her bedroom, he had nothing else to do so he considered making some miso soup.
He took his time preparing breakfast, then thinking ‘Oh yeah’, he decided he might as well clean the air conditioning filter since he was awake already. After that he might as well completely clean the bath drain, and then he should wipe down the windows and finish up the laundry, and while he was at it he could scrub the portable stove with baking soda, and polish the tatami mats, and,
