Hi CBuHoKoT, thanks for reading my translation of Usotsuki Mii-kun to Kowareta Maa-chan. Kaneko is indeed a boy. As I wrote in the project specific guideline on the wiki, the names in the story retain their narrative order. This means that Kaneko is a surname and not a given name.
