Prologue: The Sanctuary of the Dragons
It was cloudy weather where the sky was covered by the clouds——
The vast earth dyed in ash-colour where ever you looked at. With careful observations you could tell vast amount of ashes had piled on rocks which shared the same colour.
The plants were also scattered. The valley where majority of the plants were buried under the giant rocks and pebbles.
The unexplored region of Re Inferiel.
It was the Dragon’s sanctuary where it was recorded as “The Valley of Dragons” on the world map.
The large mountain range which separated the continent. The boundary of mountains located on the centre of it.
On that location——
“……Leave immediately, boisterous humans.”
The Dragon who glowed in brilliant rich colour.
The human’s language which echoed through didn’t have any pauses even though it came from the vocal cords of a Dragon which was a different species to humans. Instead it was filled with dignity which sounded feminine.
“This is our territory. Just how foolish and unforgivable it is to step foot on this soil without our permission. The reason why all of you are still alive right now is due to my first and final show of mercy.”
The ones who were present towards the gaze of the Dragon was a party who had had their swords destroyed, their battle wear with high resistance torn and destroyed, and their whole body covered in burns.
Their total number exceeded twenty members.
Each and one of them were skilled MASTERSKnights, ARIASCasters, and FULLTYPESFighters but they had their knees on the ground without being able to do anything and were gazing up towards the Dragon while their expression was covered in fear.
——Atrocious.
A formation of parties had been beaten in their own game by merely a single Dragon.
This is the Dragon-species.
The high-level existence that conquers the Earth and were on the same level as the Angels of the Heaven and the Demons of the Underworld.
“There will not be a second warning.”
The Dragon spread her wings wide and made a posture of showing her warning.
The moment the party witnessed that, every single members fled at once as they screamed in horror.
Unlike the time they bravely entered the Dragon’s sanctuary where their ambition appeared on their face, this time they fled from this place as fatigue struck their body, and seeing them in such——
“……Despicable.”
The Dragon Lord Carla whose colour would be described as having an aurora colour simply said that one word which also could be heard as her sighing.
It was always the same.
How vigourous parties of humans that was clueless of their position intruded into the unexplored region of Re Inferiel which was famous for being the Dragon’s sanctuary.
Some would try to gain fame by slaying a Dragon.
And some would try to step foot without permission and vandalise the Dragon’s habitat by using the exploration of the sanctuary as their excuse.
For Carla who would live for eternity, dealing with them would be a suitable leisure of spending her time to avoid boredom. Though ever since the rapid increase in number of human’s party that were seeking for the Encore, dealing with the humans that appeared on this sanctuary has started to change from ‘staving of boredom’ to ‘bothersome’.
“Humans……its rare to find a specie which doesn’t know their own position they are in. Weak. And foolish. So Kyelse-oneesama is still hanging around with these species.”
The party which had fled.
After the sight of them had disappeared, what arrived from behind her was a small Wyvern. Her kin who was also her subordinate informed Carla quietly——
“Kyelse-oneesama is coming back? Is that true?”
With those words from Dragon Lord Carla.
Dozens of Dragons that were standing behind her lifted their head up and howled in joy at once.
“This is a good occasion.”
Carla nodded her head.
“This time I need to make sure Kyelse-oneesama understands her position as the Princess of Dragons. It would be troublesome if she is still being haunted by that human called Elline. I shall end her journey to find Encore right now.”
