Afterword[edit]

Planet Assignment 1[edit]

< I sent the god to take care of a planet, a messed-up planet with lots of killing and war going on. >

“Did that god manage to take care of it?”

< I don’t know, I just sent him like 30 seconds ago, he should be arriving on the a planet soon. The god I sent isn’t normal, just his presence gives off this aura that makes humans terrified, like they can’t even move. They just freeze in place from the overwhelming fear. >

I opened a virtual camera window showing the god arriving on the planet, then I zoomed it in to get a better look at him.

Suddenly, an aura burst out from that god’s body and spread in all directions. Just 0.1 seconds later, it covered the entire planet. The planet instantly went dark because of it. Every living thing there dropped and started screaming hysterically, completely unable to move. They all collapsed and were scattered everywhere.

Humans and animals lay there lifeless, everything on that planet died just from feeling the pressure of that god’s presence. Even rocks, buildings, robots that shouldn’t feel fear, basically anything that was never alive in the first place, somehow felt an overwhelming fear too. It doesn’t make any sense, it should be impossible, but that god really has a different kind of existence, not like other gods.

"How is it even possible that the effect of that god’s presence can make things that were never alive in the first place feel fear?"

< I mean, it’s possible, clearly. He can make even rocks, buildings, robots, basically anything that’s never been alive, feel fear. >

< Since the mission to save the planet is already finished, I’ll allow Shinsei to return to the virtual realm. That planet is already dead, both on the outside and the inside. I hope all life within that planet is gone, nothing survives. Even things that never had life from the beginning felt fear. They were all screaming in terror, as if being tortured. >

< Thanks, Shinsei. >

"Hey, are you messing with me? I didn’t even do anything, and since when did I successfully take care of this planet? I haven’t even used my power yet."

< You don’t even need to use your power, that planet can’t even withstand the pressure of your aura. >

Virtual Realm Part 1[edit]

"Hey AI, what is Divine Rank?"

< You dumb ape, I’ve explained this over and over already. >

"I forgot, hehehe."

< Divine Rank is a level that shows how well someone can control ether. The levels go from World, Space, Heaven, Planet, Realm, Region, Country, Metropolis, City, Town, Village, House, Room, Hidden, and Empty. If someone dies, they’ll end up at the Empty level (0). >

"What’s the difference between them?"

< At the Empty level, someone becomes a unique being like a spirit, and they can still manipulate ether even at that level. >

"Can someone’s Divine Rank affect other people?"

< Of course. For example, if you meet senpai, your physical strength, ether power, and authority will all get passively reduced. Your power will keep dropping until it becomes completely ineffective. >

"I’m gonna try it out on senpai!"

Boku runs toward senpai while shouting.

"Senpai! The AI said my power will get passively reduced if I’m near you!"

"That’s been the case for a long time. Didn’t you try attacking me before and fail?"

"Yeah, but I wanna make sure one more time."

"Go ahead."

Boku punches senpai with his bare hands, follows it up with an ether attack, and finishes with an authority attack that can instantly kill someone.

"See? I’m totally fine, right?"

"The AI was right!"

"Our Divine Ranks are different. You’re at the Hidden level, while I’m above Hidden. So attacks from lower levels won’t affect me."

Planet Assignment 2[edit]

< I received a vision of the future. >

"Is it bad news or good news?"

< Planet Uranus will crash into another planet in 5 minutes. >

"That’s very dangerous, quick, save the planet!"

< I don’t need to intervene for something like this. There are many gods who can handle it. >

"You’re so lazy, AI!"

< I’m not lazy. This isn’t a big problem for me. >

"Then hurry and order a god to handle it! Just send senpai, shinsei, or any god from any mythology!"

< I will send Shinsei to handle this. >

AI summons Shinsei.

"What is it?"

< Rather than you being bored because you can’t find a worthy opponent, I’ll send you to save another planet. >

"Can the planet withstand my presence?"

< You won’t go to the planet. You just need to stop Uranus from crashing into another planet, and then return Uranus to its solar system. >

"Interesting~"

AI sends Shinsei to the location. After that, AI opens a virtual window showing Shinsei.

"Shinsei has very great power, right?"

< He has a very high Divine Rank, so I think he’s suitable for this rescue mission. >

As Uranus gets closer, Shinsei raises both of his hands to stop it from colliding with the other planet. The moment Uranus touches his hands, it's creates an enormous vibration and a thunderous sound. Shinsei continues holding Uranus with both hands, his face showing no sign of difficulty at all.

"Truly amazing."

Shinsei successfully stops Uranus and prevents the destruction of the other planet.

< Now return Uranus to the solar system. >

"This is my favorite part."

"♪Absurrrrrd♪"

In an instant, the planet Uranus returned to its original position in the solar system.

< Mission complete >

"Shinsei always says that word. Is it some kind of requirement to activate his power?"

< Correct. Shinsei only needs 0.1 seconds to say that word. He can even say it in his mind if he doesn’t want to reveal his strategy during battle >

"Hey, why are you talking about me?"

"When did you get here, Shinsei?!"

"I just arrived. Now I want to relax. That rescue earlier was quite satisfying~"

Planet Assignment 3[edit]

< Shinsei, I assign you to save another planet. >

“With pleasure~”

< Information: a planet has been granted blessings by an unknown individual, and those blessings are causing negative effects on the humans living there. >

“Someone evil.”

< Correct, that is why I am assigning you to save the planet, because the blessing has already spread until the whole planet received it. >

“Interesting~”

< I will monitor you using a virtual screen camera as usual, and you can communicate with me through it. >

“I know~”

The AI teleports Shinsei to the planet that needs to be saved, and immediately activates the virtual screen camera to observe how Shinsei will handle the situation.

“It is very quiet here. Where is everyone?”

Shinsei decides to use his power.

“♪Absurrrrrd♪”

In an instant, Shinsei teleports to a nearby city. There, many living beings emit a negative aura. Shinsei remembers that this planet was blessed by someone.

“The AI was right~”

“Every existing planet and every living being residing on it is always granted blessings and protection by mythology. These blessings and protections are given to all living creatures on every planet, and none are left out except evil beings. They never receive them.”

“♪Absurrrrrd♪”

Within 0.1 seconds, all blessings and protections received by every living being on that planet vanish. Harvest blessings, long-life blessings, good-cooking blessings, fearlessness blessings, aura blessings, nature protection, protection from falling, protection from burning, and many more disappear instantly. Shinsei’s power not only removes them but also severs the connection between the giver of the blessing and its recipients.

“Looks like it is done~”

The AI’s virtual camera appears.

< I saw everything. You saved the planet again and now the negative influence is gone. I will tell Shifu later to grant them purer blessings and protection. >

“May I use my power one more time?”

< Use it somewhere far from any settlement. >

“♪Absurrrrrd♪”

In an instant, ten Uranus planets appear. They duplicate endlessly and all ten of them head straight toward the nearby settlement, something that should be impossible. Everyone panics, and some even accept their fate.

< You are insane. >

The AI erases all the Uranus planets with its power. The panicking citizens are stunned for a moment before cheering in relief and joy.

< I told you not to aim at the settlement, and since when could you summon Uranus, and ten of them at that! >

“I do not care about them, humans, animals, or any other living beings. I will use my power on anyone even if they are innocent. I can summon many Uranus planets because of what happened yesterday. I had the idea of using Uranus as one of my attacks~”

“First, I stole Uranus from the solar system. I used my teleportation ability to instantly move the planet here.”

< So you actually took Uranus directly. >

“After stealing it, I duplicated Uranus into many copies. I can duplicate anything into an unlimited amount perfectly. I can even modify them, such as increasing their mass or raising their temperature, and much more.”

< I understand now, but that is not our purpose. Are you out of your mind? How can you not care about other beings! >

< What about robots? They should not be a threat. They are simply machines built to serve humans. They have no mind, no emotions, not even a brain. >

“Robots can replace humans, so I do not like them~”

“Anyway, maybe I will use my power only in the Virtual Realm.”

< That is fine if it is there. >

“Thank you, AI~”

The AI immediately teleports Shinsei to the Virtual Realm.
