On a Godless Planet:Volume3B Chapter 39
Chapter 39: Art Alive![edit]
–A protection plan formed by rules.

Kuwajiri listened in silence.
She could tell everyone understood what Temanko-kouhai had just said. It just didn’t feel real.
So she spoke up.
“It’s easy to forget while living in this ‘90s divine world, but we have a much broader perspective and vastly more knowledge here than we did during our myths. Back then, we only had to think of our territory as the world of our believers and ourselves…but things have changed.”
What had changed?
“Our existence and our myths were told and spread by the humans as culture, so our influence is no longer limited by national borders or where our believers live. It permeates a much larger area in a gradation.”
So…
“Our power and the range of the phases that can provide us offerings is far greater than our level or divine rank would suggest. And this fact is something we couldn’t understand without the greater perspective and view of history coming to this divine world has given us.”
Two hands went up: Mr. V’s and Kido’s.
“You mean like how learning Poseidon’s stories gives you a general idea of my stories?”
“You mean like how I existed outside of Scythia and was either worshiped or feared in Greece?”
Right. They had spread in a way not even the gods were aware of. It had been caused by…
“The humans. In a world with humans, we can have greater influence and power than we would otherwise.”
Yes.
“This is something we never would have realized without engaging in so much nonsense with the human in this divine world. This is indeed a dangerous fact that not even the DC is aware of.”
●
“Yes,” said Tenma.
“Human culture has a phase too. That fact will probably have a great influence when pieces of the terraformed planets are being allotted or when the humans are being distributed. Because how our stories are told by the humans could spread our influence beyond the land we are given.”
So…
“If the DC learns of this, they will either storm us in full force or ban our terraforming. Then they will perform all future terraforming without a human. In addition…”
She knew what they would do.
“They will want the terraformed planets to be managed by the gods, not humans.”
●
“I won’t tell them. As one of the on-site Mesopotamians, this could help me get ahead of the DC and the virtual manifestation gods.”
“A wise decision, Hatoko-kun. I agree wholeheartedly. …But Sugawara-kouhai was a lot more bold than I was expecting.”
“This really isn’t something to be revealed so casually!”
●
It only took an instant.
Everyone in the courtyard looked straight up into the sky.
A giant female figure floated there. It looked like an altar or a temple.
“God of War Metera Thesmophoros.”
A voice rang out while pointing at the heavenly god of war.
“Sing.
“The temple of harvest is there.
“The sacrifice for harvest is there.
“The harvest determines our land.
“The harvest provides our bonds.
“Become the harvest, embody the harvest, be the harvest.
“Bring our rules and our bonds to our temple.”
They all heard it.
“Synkomidi Theon.”
Light appeared at the same moment. The rain was blown away as a ring of light expanded from the giant goddess. And Demeter spoke below that light.
“I decree this meeting’s secrecy to be a rule. Got that? No blabbing.”
